Flamepaw chuckled. "Me? He's the one who started it!" He Hissed at Mistpaw. He turned to Stormpaw. "Look, you want this to end well…RIght? Now If you do…" Flamepaw smiled. "Dont give up. I told him. But I never told him who… I can. And, I will." Flamepaw got off if Stormpaw but fell over. Flamepaw quickly got up, and with out thinking, slashed Stormpaw in the face. Flamepaw flinced. A thorn was stuck in his foot. No wonder he fell over.

Stormpaw rolled on his side, he felt weak and tired….like a defenseless newborn kit. He tried to stand but he ended up falling back down. "f-fox-dung…" he whispered. he couldn't even bring himself to meet Mistpaw or Cloudypaw's gaze. get up. he looked up, now StarClan wanted to help!? Stormpaw, get up! he looked around, then he saw him. "Stormtuft..?" he whispered, his voice cracked, he need to drink something, all that screaming and yelling had made his throat dry. yes, now get up. make sure that silver she and your sister are okay. Stormpaw opened his maw to speak but he shut it, realizing he had nothing to say. and don't speak either, your throat is more dry than kittypet chow. he twitched his whiskers and stumbled back to his paws, only to then fall back on his haunches. ….can you even stand? Stormtuft asked. Stormpaw shook his head, he wanted to explain that everything hurt but his throat was still dry.

"Stormpaw!" Mistpaw cried, racing to Stormpaw's side and letting him lean against her shoulder. "Why did you attack Flamepaw?" She asked, staring at her brother with wide eyes. "He's our friend." She looked at Flamepaw for a moment, worried that one of the two toms would fling himself at the other.

Stormpaw leaned into Mistpaw's shoulder, his dark blue eyes flickering. "I-" he stopped, his voice sounded gross. hold on.. he heard the StarClan tom speak and then disappear. here. I shouldn't be doing this because I could be spotted, I probably already am, but you need water he slowly gazed up and all there was saw was a moss ball, dripping with water. Without hesitation he bent over and lapped up the water, he could feel Mistpaw's eye on his pelt. He finished lapping up all the water in a few heartbeats. "m-much better." he mewed. Looking over at Mistpaw he could tell that the fighting had gone over her head and now she was thinking over a thousand questions about the mysterious wet-moss that was laid down in front of him. "don't worry about it…" he reassured. "it was just Stormtuft who gave it to me…" he winced as he places his paw down, "ow." he whispered, lifting it up he looked down at his paw pad to see about 3 thorns in it. "that might be why." he flicked his ear. "And…it was Rainfrost." he mewed, trying to answer Mistpaw's question of why he had flung himself at Flamepaw. "Rainfrost called Flamepaw a kittypet and I had a feeling he used it because….he knows about d-dad…" his voice cracked with emotion. Mistpaw looked down at him with a look of concern and worry. "do you think he….told?" Mistpaw asked, looking back up at the patched tom. Stormpaw nodded. "he did. he told me that he did tell, but he never said who it was to Rainfrost….he threatened to tell…and I just…" he felt his claws dig into the ground, it was clearly visible, no tall grass nearby to hide it. "I just felt threatened and…exposed." then he widen his eyes, the question now dawning on him. "What if Rainfrost finds dad and hurts him?!" he yelped, his voice still low.

Mistpaw froze, her violet eyes focused on Flamepaw. "He…he wouldn't." She muttered, turning back to Stormpaw. "Flamepaw would never. Right?" She looked back at Flamepaw, then at Stormpaw again. She took a few pawsteps back. "He wouldn't do something like that." Mistpaw stared into her brother's eyes, wishing desperately for him to tell her that it wasn't true. That Flamepaw didn't tell Rainfrost anything.

Stormpaw twitched his tail tip, "h-he did….he told me….and…I had to tell you…" he finally look Mistpaw in the eyes, he almost flinched as he saw the heartbreak in her gaze. "i'm…i'm so sorry." he whispered loud enough for his sister, and maybe Cloudypaw, to hear.

Mistpaw looked down at her paws for a moment, then padded up to Flamepaw. She lifted her head and stared into his eyes, her muzzle a whisker length from his. Swiftstar managed to get free from Scorchfeather and ran to the border. "Get back to camp!" She yelled at the apprentices. When Flamepaw took a step to follow them, she whipped her head around, growling, "Not you." She grabbed Cloudypaw, who was still frozen in fear, by the scruff of her neck and could barely lift her off the ground but dragged her over the border anyway.

Stormpaw looked back at Scorchfeather and Flamepaw. Flamepaw still had his claws out, and Scorchfeather was now at the apprentices side. "WEAK! ALL OF YOU! WEAK!" Scorchfeather let out a massive yowl after them. Stormpaw heard bird call out a warning to it's other brethren and flew up into the sky. Stormpaw didn't waste a moment more and he sped after Swiftstar, the WindClan leader was holding Cloudypaw in her jaws but the scruff as if the silver molly were still a kitten. Cloudypaw was still frozen in fear, her jaw parted open slightly and her eyes were still wide, and now glossed. Stormpaw felt his heart crack, he didn't want to see anycat like this. especially Cloudypaw. Mistpaw was waiting at the border, but he could tell she was deeply distracted, after a few more rabbit-lengths, everyone made it to the border. Swiftstar dropped Cloudypaw and leaned over and cough. Stormpaw saw blood dripping down her lip. "S-Swiftstar? are you-" "SWIFTSTAR!" Stormpaw jumped at the sound of his mother's wail at the top of the moorland hill.

Springheart didn't give Swiftstar to second to look up as she streaked down the hill, running as fast as her legs would take her. She leapt over a rabbit hole and stopped right in front of her mate. "Swiftstar! w-what happened! why are you and Stormpaw bleeding?!" she asked, her voice cracking. Swiftstar looked up at her with a mixture of heavy emotion. "Swiftstar….?" she mewed, her voice no higher than a whisper, "what happened…?" she asked again. It was only then Springheart now noticed that a frozen Cloudypaw by the grey WindClan she. "And why is Cloudypaw..frozen in fear?" Springheart felt a whirlwind of confusion and concern bubble inside her.

Mistpaw looked back across the border and stared at the figure of Flamepaw in the distance. She turned away with a sigh and padded back to the others, her head low and her tail brushing the ground. Flamepaw hadn't answered her question, and she was both worried about him, and about the fact that Rainfrost might know about Ciel. She felt Springheart's eyes on her, but didn't make a move to meet her mother's gaze. I don't know what would happen to Flamepaw if I told her, She thought, I don't want him to get hurt, but… What about my father?
