Letha looked at the bushes and plants, seeing nothing special. "Are you looking for something?"
Letha looked at the bushes and plants, seeing nothing special. "Are you looking for something?"
Skye stopped short as he nosed around some diamond shaped leaves, "There, this plant is called Night Dorimiunt, chew some of those leaves it will keep u awake."
"Ok," She grabbed a few of the leaves and popped them into her mouth, squeezing her eyes shut at the strong bitter taste. "Oh, wow, those are bitter. Yeah, I'm definitely awake now." She grabbed a few more and tucked them into her pocket incase they were needed.
"good, " he said, satisfied that the problem was solved, "Now we've come at least 300 Leagues, (I dont actually know what the measurement is and im not good with measure ments but they have come really far..) so should i keep going (insert direction,) or should we change course to get to this port city, he asked .
Letha looked around and smiled "I know where we are now, we have to go this way now," She pointed to the west "We have to to this way for a few hours, until we meet a dirt path, them we follow that until we get to the city,"
Skye shifted in assent then resumed his original pace in the direction she'd pointed out.
Letha looked around and smiled Mira flowers and my brother, here we come! she thought to herself and settled back into Skye's stride.
(Skip til morning? You can start this time, also Skye can and will go all night since Nebulis (his wolf half) are usually nocturnal.)
(Ok,)
Letha snapped back into reality, not noticing that she had been daydreaming for several hours. "Hey Skye, you need a break? It's already dawn." She looked at the sunrise and let Skye run on, waiting for his answer.
Skye slowed a bit, "Im good for awhile yet. Why are you sore?" he asked.
She nodded "A little," Letha tried to sit up and winced "Scratch that, a lot,"
Skye slowed and padded to a stop by the side of the road, as he had reached it about an hr before. "Then i guess we'd better take a break huh?" he said jokingly as he waited for Letha to dismount.
Letha slowly got off of Skye's back and promptly sat on the ground, wincing. "Ok, I might need to walk for a little bit.." she said slowly and stood up, stretching her legs several times.
Skye laughed as he sat down and watched her stretch. " I guess I should've warned you about the fact that more muscles are used to keep your balance when riding a wolf than with a horse… after all you have to move with me, and let me do the work, and its easy for you but in the long run…" he laughed again, "Well thats what happens if ur not used to it"
Letha chuckled "Well, now I know," She rubbed her eyes and her stomach growled, reminding her that she hasn't slept all night and that she hadn't eaten since lunch yesterday.
"Those herbs i showed you earlier should make sure that u arent too tired for the day, just make sure you get some real sleep tonight. " said skye noting the realization on her face. "I've used it before myself and it works fine it just isn't a good idea to use it twice in a row if you don't have to, " he said as he tucked his tail over his paws
Letha nodded "Ok, let's get going then," she grabbed another loaf of bread form in her bag and a few pieces of dried meat for Skye.
Skye scarfed down the meat, and allowed letha to mount again. This time he took of at a pace similar to a trot. as they headed toward the city
(K, I'm going to bed, i'll answer in the morning, gn!)
(Okie dokie)
(G'Morning!)
(Heyo!)
Letha smiled happily as they neared the city, seeing the slightly medieval towers and gate.
Skye slowed as the city came into veiw, resuming a slower walk. his ears perked back toward Letha "Hey um it probably isnt a good idea to go in there as a wolf right now, um.." he said hesitantly
"Yeah, can you change back or do you want to stay out here?" Letha nodded and looked down at him, holding onto a handful of fur lightly.
"I can shift back… but it might knock me out cold." he said, "I wont shift if you dont think you can handle that.. But im not staying out here either."
