"I'm good to keep going" he said "I can keep up a much faster pace than this all day. But I'm not so sure you can after all we've been running since sunup."

Letha nodded "I could use a break, since I'm not a super wolf human like you," She grinned at Skye and turned to the new guy "What about you newbie? I still don't know your name but you want to take a break for lunch or keep going?"

"Skye slowed to a stop and smiled back at Letha "I'm no super wolf. If I were trying to match a true wolf I'd be the one needing a break right now.." he said sitting down on a nearby log to continue sharpening his blades to get the nicks out of the edge.

Letha smiled "Still.." she sat down on the ground and pulled out a small loaf of bread and three apples, tossing an apple to Skye and the new guy and keeping one for herself. She ripped the loaf into three pieces and again gave one to each person.

"Its natural for me," said Skye. "Wolces are known for being able to run at good speeds for long distances. I have similar stamina. But I could never match a trueblood."

"Definitely no super wolf." Pete murmured. He bit into the apple and wondered if he should tell them about his own powers.

"Skye looked over at the other guy. "Hey we never got ur name." He said

Letha glanced at the guy (pete) and took a bite of her apple "Can you please tell me your name? I hate just calling you 'new guy'."

"Same" said Skye as he sheathed his blades, having finished sharpening them.

"It's Pete. I don't know your guy's names either but… he called you," he pointed at Letha, "Letha? And you're… Skye?" he asked, looking at Skye. Then he grinned. "So maybe I do know your names."

"Sure buddy.." said Skye as he stood up. " well are we ready to get going again?" He asked wobbling a little as his arm throbbed with pain.

Letha nodded "That's me," She smiled "Nice to finally know your name Pete,"

"I'll ready when you are." Pete said, throwing the apple core away and standing up.

Skye nodded then seeing that they were ready he set the pace again.

Letha smiled and started jogging again, she started humming quietly to herself and followed Skye, wondering if he knew where he was going.

"So… if you don't mind me asking, why did you rob the treasury?

"I don't really know…I just wanted something to do.." Letha slowed down and jogged alongside Pete.

"You were bored?!?"

Skye turned and ran headlong down a hill and another throb of pain caused him to trip and catch himself on a tree. He slowly turned his back against the tree as he clutched his arm, his eyes shut tight as he tried to shut out the pain.
(My mom just left me alone with marshmallows and a fire….)

Letha grinned and nodded "Yeah," she saw Skye run down the im and she gasped "One second Pete," she sprinted down the hill and ran up to him "Are you ok Skye?"

Skye gasped as his wound throbbed. "Ow… no.." he mumbled as his legs gave out and he slowly sat down…
