Cai stood on the roof of a building in the Hadrian Ghetto, watching as the borders for the Crescent Sector were set. The Hazrians and other races had protested and finally secured a part of the oversized human Sector where prejudice was outlawed. Anyone could be there. Anyone could thrive.
Unasa was preparing so move to the new Cresent Sector, he said a final goodbye to the wonderful scholar who took him in. He walked for a while till he reached the new boarders, keeping an eye out for any danger.
Kelda was walking towards the boarder, pausing.
The workers, a healthy mix of each race, came to the gate, around the flock of Hazrans waiting to get out of the Ghetto. He could only imagine what the people in the other Sectors must be acting. A Hazrian worker released his stinger, it was a long, sinuous, neon purple bladed tentacle, simplistic. He cut the chains on the gate.
Un walked towards the gate, throngs of people preparing to go through
A worker opens the gate and a crap ton of people stream in, chattering excidedly
Kleda follows, happy.
First thing first, need to find a place to stay He thought look around for home ads
Cai takes to the streets, one step ahead of his Hazrian fellows. He comes in contact with the Tekapis.
Un bumps into a person "Ah, I'm sincerely sorry." he apologizes politely.
"It's cool." Cai replies.
"My name is Unasa." He sticks his hand out for the other man to shake.
"I'm Cai." He says, shaking it.
"Do you know of any places that have vacancies?" Un asks Cai
"I'm afraid I don't yet." Cai responds walking along as the Hazrans come around.
Kelda stumbles forward, buming into Cai. "Sorry!"
"Don't worry." Cai says. The few Hasloi willing to come above ground appeared on the outer edges of the crowd.
Kelda smiles ever so slightly.
"Thats a shame, i need a place to stay" he muttered
"I dont suppose either of you know where the local library is?"
Kelda perks up. "I wish. I love book"
