"Well I don't really know if Lia knows, but I saw her and Ana whispering about something and looking over at you two. Ana and I saw you two kissing." Eli explained. "We also know about…you know…your secret."

Griffin froze. He swallowed, not making eye contact. “Oh.”, was all he said.
He smiled reassuringly. "It's fine. I don't know why you thought you should keep this from us. We all have our secrets though."
Griffin still wouldn’t look at him. “I hated being a girl.”, he whispered, eyes welling up with tears. “I didn’t want you guys to think of me as one.”
"We wouldn't. You're a boy and we respect that." Eli told Griffin, his softer side showing.
A single tear ran down Griffin’s face as he finally turned to look at his friend. “Thanks, Eli. You guys are the best.”
"That's what we're here for." He took the ice off his eye, his skin getting too cold.
Griffin lay back on the bed. “Get some rest, ‘kay? You tire yourself out to much.”
(I love writing ‘mom’ characters)
"Okay mom." Eli chuckled, lying down on his cot.
Griffin chuckled lightly, even as he tensed up. I would rather be a dad…, he thought.
He set the ice down on the floor next to his glasses. "Goodnight."
(hello, i'm waiting for @Amber to return so when she gets back i guess we'll do the exploring part)
“‘Night.”
Griffin stayed awake for a long time.
Eli fell asleep pretty quickly. Ana on the other hand, couldn't; she was too worried about the exploration going on. What if they're caught?
(hello, i'm waiting for @Amber to return so when she gets back i guess we'll do the exploring part)
(sorry I'm here let's go!)

(I'm just gonna use this one again)
Lia and Ella carefully walk through the building. Every time that Lia hears a sound, she tenses up, scared to death that it's the ringmaster. "Where should we check first?"

Yay!

Lia and Ella carefully walk through the building. Every time that Lia hears a sound, she tenses up, scared to death that it's the ringmaster. "Where should we check first?"
Ella thinks about it. "The kid's section?"
"Yeah, let's check there first." They walk towards the kids' room. In the small, dark room, they can see circus equipment fit for a child to use. "I'm sure we can find something here. Maybe like a trap door?" Lia whispered and started to walk around the room, searching for anything useful.
Ella ran her hands across a wall, searching for a door, a cupboard… anything. She bumped into something. A chest. "Hey, Lia, over here." She knelt down.
"Wait… could that fit this key?" Lia pulled out the small key and tried to unlock the chest. It worked.
Ella grinned. "Bingo." She gingerly lifted the chest and narrowed her eyes. All sorts of folders and receipts lay strew across the wooden bottom of the chest.
"What is this stuff?" Lia wondered out loud, shuffling through the papers. She pulled a long sheet of paper out. "This is a receipt to something, but it's blacked out."
