Eli nodded. "I'm sure they're fine. They both know how to handle themselves."
Eli nodded. "I'm sure they're fine. They both know how to handle themselves."
(Go ahead)
Griffin nodded, not really believing him. He leaned back against the wall, wiping the sweat from his forehead. “You good?”
"What do you mean?" Eli asked, sitting up himself.
“Are you hurt, traumatized, etcetera?”
He pointed to his eye. "Got a black eye, but that's it. I'm used to this kind of treatment."
“Aren’t we all.”, Griffin muttered, getting up. “Need some ice for that?”, he asked, opening the cupboard to search for some.
"I guess some ice wouldn't hurt." Eli waited patiently for Griffin to find ice. He took off his glasses (yes, he had worn them to sleep) and set them aside, his left eye looking down at the ground and his injured right one looking at Griffin.
Griffin handed him the ice pack, groaning and stretching out his sore legs.
Eli put the ice up to his eye, wondering how creepy he looked right now with just his left eye showing. He yawned and stretched out his free arm. "The things I would do for some ambien right now…" He muttered.
Griffin stared at the ceiling before pulling himself into sitting position. “Hey Ana, how’s that wrist holding up?”
Ana rolled over when Eli tapped her on the shoulder. "What…?" She mumbled, half asleep but not able to truly doze off. "How's your wrist?" Eli signed to her. "Oh." She sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Not the best. I think I hurt it more during our show."
Griffin got up again, grabbing some Arnoca lotion from the cupboard and sitting on the edge of her bed, applying it to her wrist. “That should help.”
She winced a little, but got used to the cold lotion on her wrist. "Thank you." Ana clumsily signed with her left hand.
Griffin smiled kindly. “Anytime. Take it easy on that wrist ‘kay?”
Ana nodded, lying back down on her cot, her arm lying out in front of her.
Eli smirked. "Such a mom." He mumbled.
Griffin swatted him lightly. “It’s not my fault you guys don’t take care of yourselves enough.”
"It's not a bad thing." Eli stated. "You're just that kind of person. I'm more of an older brother type person. It's like I'm second in line." He tried to explain. "If you can't or don't take care of someone, I'm there."
Griffin smiled at Eli, his arm hanging off the bed. “I see your point.”
"Now Ana is more of a younger sister." Eli continued. "She doesn't take care of people physically, but she can make you smile. She also somehow knows everyone's secrets."
Griffin smiled at this. “And Ella?”
"Hm…considering the events of today…I'd say maybe the introvert dad." Eli smirked.
Griffin went bright red. “What?!”, he spluttered, falling off the bed with a muffled thump.
"Don't worry, I won't tell." Eli chuckled. "I think it's just me, Ana, and Lia that know." He threw his legs over the side of the bed, still holding ice to his eye. "Like I said, Ana knows everyone's secrets."
“What?! How?!” Griffin stuttered, getting clumsily to his feet. “How do they now too?”
