"Uh…no, I didn't," Bastian admitted with a small chuckle. "I honestly can't make anything better than a sandwich or boxed mac n' cheese."

“Ah, I see,” Corbin said, nodding his head slowly in understanding. “The sandwiches still look good, though.”

Bastian nodded, setting the tray on the kitchen table. "What all do you want to drink? Whiskey, root beer, water?" he asked as he rummaged through the fridge

“Just water will be alright,” Corbin answered. He moved to sit at the kitchen table, grunting softly as he did so.

Bastian hummed in agreement before grabbing himself some rootbeer for himself and then getting down a glass for Corbin. He filled it with water before handing the cup to him

“Thank you,” Corbin said, taking the glass. He sipped it slowly as he watched Bastian closely. Maybe he would give Bastian a chance in bed. He didn’t have anything else to do with his time.

"No problem," Bastian hummed with a small smile. He took a swig of his root beer before reaching for one of the sandwiches and taking a bite. "Mm, these are good."

Corbin set down his glass of water and reached over to pick up a sandwich. He took a bite, and nodded as he chewed. “These are actually really good,” he said.

"That's good. I've got chips and stuff too somewhere, uh…Oh! And cake, I have cake," Bastian rambled before taking another bite of his sandwich

“Oh, I probably shouldn’t have much junk food,” Corbin said before taking a slow drink of water. He was slim enough and very fit looking, but he still preferedf o eat healthy to maintain the appearance.

“Just one little slice? It’s strawberry vanilla,” Bastian cooed to try and entice him into taking the offer

“I don’t think so, Bastian,” Corbin said. “I have to look good for when I decide to go to bed with you, and that will make me gain weight.”

Bastian raised a brow at that. “How do you think I work off all the alcohol and junk food? Trust me baby, one slice of cake won’t turn you fat.”

Corbin gave a slight huff, seeing that it was obvious that Bastian wasn’t going to let this go. “Alright, fine. I’ll have a small piece.”

“Now you’re masking sense,” Bastian hummed. He got up, walking over to the fridge and pulling out a well-decorated cake. He cut himself a slice, setting it on a plate before getting Corbin one and handing it to him

“Thanks,” Corbin said and picked up a fork after taking the cake. He took a small bite, speaking after he had chewed and swallowed. “I’ll admit, this is pretty good.”

“Told you it would be worth it,” Bastian hummed, giving Corbin a smug smile before taking a bite of his

“Yeah, yeah,” Corbin chuckled. He wiped up a bit of icing from off of the plate and onto his finger. He held his finger down to Orion, who’s tail wagged as he licked it off.

Bastian chuckled as he watched them interact. “See, even Orion says it’s good,” he joked before taking another bite of his own

Corbin looked up at Bastian again with a slight smile on his lips. “Eh, well he’ll eat just about anything,” he chuckled.

“Well he obviously likes it,” Bastian chuckled. He finished his cake, now leaning back in his chair as he watched them

Corbin smiled a bit more and nodded his head. He eventually finished his cake and finished off his glass of water as well. “Well, I’m full now.”

“Here, I’ll take those,” Bastian said before taking his plate and glass. He threw away the plate before just setting the glass in the sink. Smiling, he sat back down before resting his chin in one hand. “How do you feel about working off those calories?” he asked in a teasing tone

Corbin had thanked Bastian, and saw the meaning behind those words when he came back. “That’s what I’ve been trying to decide this whole time, if I should give you a chance.”

“You’ve been ‘trying to decide?’ This whole time?” Bastian scoffed. “I would think that you would have at least gotten close enough to wanting to but not having the balls to ask,” he chuckled
