He stopped and looked at her. "You're the strangest person I've ever met."

"Are you listening to yourself?" Ryker questioned, laughing. "If we kiss then you'd have to put up with me more!"

Alex began running back to where she had last seen Mihala. She hoped the others would bump into them on the way

"That's not the point!" She exclaimed. "Gods. We're alone for the first time since we've been on this quest and you don't want to do anything. Like, come on. Can't we just make out for a couple minutes."

"We can spare a couple minutes." She grumbled. "You're going to regret this missed opportunity."

He rolled his eyes. "Let's keep going Daisy."

"I'm sure I won't," Ryker said. He adjusted his grip on his knife and kept moving down the halls.

He grabbed her arm and tugged her forward. He barely stopped himself from barreling into Ryker.

“Oh hey. You’re awake.”

"Gods!" Ryker exclaimed, holding his knife at the ready. When he noticed who it was, he lowered it. "Kaden, Elizabeth. Where are the others?"

Alex stopped, hearing voices behind her. She turned around and went towards them, as she rounded the corner she saw Kaden, Liz, Ryker and Phoebe. "Guys come quickly, Mihala and I found something"
