“Yeah, not gonna work either. Also smashing windows won’t help so don’t even try.” She replied, gently putting a hand on the girl’s shoulder.
“Yeah, not gonna work either. Also smashing windows won’t help so don’t even try.” She replied, gently putting a hand on the girl’s shoulder.
"While we all try to settle down and figure out what the fuck just happened, does anybody want some coffee?" Asura asked, completely giving up on trying to be reasonable and escape from this nightmare.
Evanna shrugged Kaitlin's hand off her shoulder. "Well, I'm not gonna stop trying. I've got places to be." She needed the money, she needed to leave. She picked up a small table in the corner, and with all her might rammed it into the window.
Kaitlin winced, “It’s not going to work and sure, I’ll take a coffee.” She said, turning to Asura.
"Good luck, Hulk," Asura said to the new girl. He turned to the coffee maker and grabbed a few mugs. "How do you like your coffee?" he asked Kaitlin while shrugging off his black jacket.
Evanna stared in disbelief as the table turned to ash, the window not even scratched. She sat down on the floor, contemplating existence. "I'll take hot cocoa if you have any."
“Honestly right now I couldn’t care, but with an extra shot of coffee is all I ask for.” She said, shaking her head slightly.
"Alrighty," he said, grabbing two mugs and getting started on the drinks. "So what were you two doing at an empty cafe in the afternoon?" he asked, leaning against the counter.
Kaitlin shrugged, “I was on my way to the library but there was something about this place that peaked my interest and I wanted to take a look. What about you?”
Evanna shrugged, still gazing at the wall. "I was on my way to..work, and I passed this place. It seemed..worth a try, and I had a couple extra dollars to spare."
"I'm kind of in the same situation, actually. I was on my way to a friend's house, and the light at the crosswalk was taking way too long, so I just thought… 'why not?" He shrugged at the last part. "Might just be the worst decision I've ever made. I don't know, we'll see."
(Whoa I missed two whole pages, I was at a party. How can I slip in here?)
(oof my last response was directed towards Matt, sorry for the confusion)
(just go ahead and walk in. Maybe you think Asura is the barista and just casually order a coffee lol. Whatever you decide, we'll go with it)
(oke)
The cafe had caught Thorin’s eye. He was in desperate need of caffeine, after just getting back from his friends house. Watching half of the Star Wars series isn’t an easy task. He opened the doors and walked up to the barista, smiling at the other people there.
"Oh no, here comes another one," Asura sighed, looking the guy up and down. "Who's gonna tell him?"
"NO DON'T CLOSE IT!" Evanna yelled. She groaned and laid back onto the floor as the door slammed shut, muttering incomprehensible words.
“Mate, I don’t think it was a good idea that you come in here.” Kaitlin said to the new guy, “You’re going to be stuck here for a while.”
"YOUR STUCK IN THIS HELL FOREVER, YOUR WELCOME" Aves yells
Thorin turned around on his heels. “Whoa, what’s wrong?” He looked at the two girls that had spoken. “I just want some coffee.”
imma sleep, night//
Asura rolled his eyes. "I'll get you a cup of coffee. You're probably going to need it for when you find out what's happening anyway. Might even want a shot of rum with it."
Evanna grasped at the air, her voice rising an octave. "I JUST WANTED COFFEE!" She sat up and set her head in her lap. "I just wanted coffee." She muttered.
