(Yeah, that sounds cool!)
(Yeah, that sounds cool!)
(Sure!)
Laura listened to the conversation, writing a couple sentences in her journal every so often.
(Lol then Revolution 11 it is!)
Lilly grinned "we dont have a name for our band yet, any ideas? Or should they call us on stage by saying 'please welcome a group of kids who make music!'
"I mean, isn't the truth supposed to be a good thing?" Kai lifted her head, but wasn't looking at Lilly. She was focused on watching Laura.
Laura's expression was soft, and she'd moved on from writing to a simple sketch.
"Well yeah but if we want to get anywhere, we need a name." She smiled, watching kai study laura
"Hhmm…something kinda edgy maybe. Something to do with space even."
(Is it cool if Laura comes up with it? Or Lilly can, idc.)
(Laura would be best, and the other could tease her about it?)
(Sure!)
Laura looked up. "What about Revolution 11?" she asked softly. There was a sketch of a logo idea. (Just picture an 11 below the REVOLUTION. This isn't my work, btw.)
Acacia thought for a second, "Yeah that sounds great!"
She smiled shyly. "Here's an idea…" she whispered, sliding her notebook towards Acacia.
Acacia looked own at the notebook and smiled, "It looks great Laura."
Laura blushed. "It… It's just a rough draft. I-I can ask Mrs. Duvall to use the graphic design studio after school to make it look better."
"Well still, it's amazing," Acacia responded. She pushed the notebook back towards Laura, "It'll just get better after being polished up."
She blushed harder and took her notebook back. "Thank you."
Acacia grinned, "No problem. Also I'm sorry about the other popular girls, they're only a little bit dumber than how they act."
"Taylor just doesn't like me, th-that's all…" Laura whispered.
Kai snorted at that, glued to her phone once again.
"I know, and she's awful to you," Acacia sighed, "Really wish I could just get away from them."
Laura looked at her curiously. "Why can't you?"
"Most of them know my parents, and they are big gossipers so if I do anything 'against the girls' my parents will know and I'll get punished," Acacia sighed, "It's so stupid."
Laura frowned. "That sucks."
"I know," Acacia put her head in her hands, "And there is nothing I can do about it."
