(Who are you talking too?)
(Who are you talking too?)
(You don't have to worry, it's far from dead.)
(He's talking to Brooklyn.)
(Oh ok.)
Brooklyn studied the man, who was much older then him, you couldn't see her facial expressions at all.
Instead of giving a snarky comment, she nodded and didn't say anything, she didn't want to show off her powers right now, no, she would save them for later when she actually needed it as she twisted the creature's arm and ripped it off, forcefully.
Baron dropped the creature, before uppercutting it, simultaneously crushing the skull. It fell to the ground with a sickening crack.
"I'll go untie the children, you do a double tap on this thing?" Baron said, more a suggestion than an order.
Brooklyn gave him a thumbs up as she kept a watch on it. As she breathed, her mask kept making weird creaky and clickly noises as she observed this creature. The guy seemed to know what he was doing, might as well follow.
Baron went to untie the kids, asking them what had happened in the meantime.
"The bus driver turned into that, that thing!" One of them said. They cowered as he untied them. "Hop on my back, I'll get you out of here." Baron said. Nodding towards the girl superheroine.
(wow I missed a lot lol)
Vos had been about to jump the creature when the strange man from before had beaten him to it. Still, he allowed his staff to materialize, not wanting to be caught off guard
"What's up?" Baron asked the new guy. The man from earlier. The creature started to get back up, it's skull reforming.
"Jesus!" He called, as he took out his spear.
"The sky, along with this creature's skull," Vos responded dryly before taking one of the ends of his staff and driving it through the creature's neck. He scooped the head up onto one of the blades before tossing it surprisingly far away
"That's more like it!" Baron replies. "If this thing won't die…" He said, cutting it to pieces with his spear. "We'll force it to." He said, loudly, careful not to spill it's pale blue blood on his outfit.
Nimbly, Vos took his spear before tossing what bits of the body that hadn't been cut up into the air. He slashed the remaining pieces into bits before a bright bolt of violet lightning struck the bits just as the head fell from the sky
"You think it's dead now?" Baron asked.
"I would assume so," Vos said as he looked down at the now smoldering remains of the creature. "Unless it has managed to escape death via roughly 100,000 volts in human measurements, I think it is dead."
"Not to mention being decapitated and turned into mincemeat." Baron said.
@RedTheAngryBee you there?//
"That as well," Vos added with a small nod. He pressed a button on his staff, the blades retracting into the handle before shrinking with a click. He set it back inside his trenchcoat before running a hand through the longer strands of his hair
"Alright." Baron said, turning, and almost missing something crawl out of the stump that was the thing's neck. Baron glared at it, casting his eyes powerfully on it. It exploded, spewing grossness that almost flew at the group.
(This is a power he has called telecombustion, but it takes focus, is hard to use mid-combat, and is less OP than it sounds.)
Vos made a noise of disgust, stepping back so that the debris didn't get on him. "Disgusting. Do all mortals combust like that?" he asked with a slight sneer
"Sometimes." Baron joked, jogging out of the sewer with the kids on his back.
Vos watched him go before turning his attention to the rubble. With a sort of exasperated sigh, he began to help clean up some of the debris and damaged vehicles
"Let me get that too." Baron called, lifting the ruined bus, and hauling it off
(Ugh I'm so sorry dinner took too long so now I have to sleep. I'm sorry Dusk. You can take control of Atticus if you want though. Good night)
Vos rolled his eyes. "Showoff," he muttered under his breath before going to work on cleaning up a different part of the explosion area
(The explosion wasn't very big. Maybe the size of a basketball. Nothing that would destroy a street.)
"But I get the job done." Baron called, walking off.
