Hands resting is oversized pockets, and with a hood pulled up, a newcomer gazes on the town of Briarton, eyes a soft blue. With a contended hum, the man walks down one of the many streets, losing himself in his thoughts. This time will be better, Ori. You know that. We'll help you. We Promise. Shaking his head to clear it, he stumbles over his own feet, falling to the ground in front of a man wearing a distinctive, dark trench coat.
(The spear Baron has is concealed.)
Baron notices the great amount of spirits around him. One tries to go through him, but realizes that's impossible, and goes around him awkwardly. He sees another man, a tall, scarred mountain of muscle, looking at them too.
(Oh whoops.)
Vos was watching the small rabbit bounding across the sidewalk before finding it couldn't pass through a strange man. Vos was snapped out of his musing, tilting his head in a confused manner when he looked at the man
As Brooklyn scanned the crowd out of habit until her eyes landed on a man, she saw that people couldn't past through him…that was strange . She immediately averted her eye so he wouldn't notice, but the problem, was that he was kinda in the way…
World blurring around him, eyes growing watery, Orion does his best to pick himself up in front of the trenchcoated man (Vos) and keep walking, failing rather miserably. Stumbling another step forward, he falls again, head pounding, pressing his hands against his ears in the hopes that the pain would lessen.
Vos was distracted by a boy bumbling around in front of him. Something in the back of his mind laughed, jeered at the boy and wished to inflict more pain. But he ignored it in favor of slowly approaching the boy. "Are you alright?" he murmured, voice deep and rich as he crouched beside him
"You okay, pal?" Baron asks the man, who lies on the sidewalk, offering a hand.
Shaking his head to the side furiously, Orion tries to make the pain stop. Oh Stars why wont it stop. "I'm not okay. I'm not okay." Spiraling downward, thoughts he doesn't want to have. Panic. Barely able to make out the man crouched in front of him. "Please." Not even sure what he is praying for. Flashes of light blue eyes peeking through when he lifts his head up.
Baron noticed a young woman approaching him, but was too busy tending to the watery-eyed boy to do much else.
Brooklyn observed the interaction carefully as she sat on a bench with her phone out, blending in with the crowd.
"Here," Vos murmured, his voice low and soothing despite his appearance. He reached into his pocket, pulling out a small vial and offering it to the boy. "This will help you."
With no hesitation, Orion takes the vial and downs it without even a grimace, seemingly oblivious to the taste. Coming to his senses, he looks at the man before him. "Oh shoot! I…I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you." Words drowning each other out in his haste to tell Vos. "It just..happens sometimes. I'll be alright. Yeah, I'll be alright.." Trailing off, he seems to be trying to convince himself of his own words.
"Are you sure?" Baron asks, looking at the two other men. He pays down his denim shirt.
"It is fine," Vos assured him. His son dealt with the same issues of a sort, as well as his former "wife," if that's what they had been
Pushing himself back up, and nearly losing balance, he reaches out and touches the trenchcoated man's arm to steady himself, freezing a moment after doing so. The voices are gone. The voices are gone. It's quiet. Oh Stars its quiet. Coming back to himself he hurriedly pulls away, apologies once again spilling from him.
Brooklyn pretended to busy herself to the phone as she was really interested at what was happening with the 3 men. Probably hero's. She noted to herself.
Baron walks back across the street. He wished he could go back to San Francisco and get his old equipment, but then again, he didn't really want to.
He cursed under his breath.
@RedTheAngryBee yeah, sorry i was being dead inside whilst watching people make fools of themselves//
"Stop apologizing, boy," Vos murmured. "You collapsed, it's not your fault. You should not apologize for something you are not at fault for."
After scanning the area again, Brooklyn put her phone away and carefully made her way to the store, making sure no one was tailing her and that she wasn't being watched.
(Does anyone mind if a add a tab bit more powers to my character? I just feel you guys have so much powers….and uh I feel like my character is a bit under powered.)
(I've got to go do HW guys, I'll be on tomorrow, feel free to drag Orion with you and get him somewhere relatively safe)
