Noticing someone sit beside her, Rei turned, giving them a friendly smile (Ana). Another girl! It made her excited to meet someone of the same gender seeing as everyone so far had been a male as far as she had noticed. Looking around, she did notice a few others she had yet to talk to.
Nigel made his way down the stairs, racked with a sudden burst of nerves. Hey, calm down., he told himself sternly, composing himself before exiting the stairwell and looking around for the auditorium.
After a bit of wandering around, he found it, and slipped inside, keeping his facial expression casual and relaxed even as his stomach twisted itself into a knot. He was strange that way, got really worked up about meeting new people but could climb up on a stage and perform for three hours without breaking sweat. Looking around for a place to sit, he saw that almost everywhere was full except for a few spots near the middle. Steadying himself, Nigel wormed his way through the crowds and sat down next to a girl (Yuri).
Yuri glanced over to the boy who sat next to her. Now or never… Her mind pushed her to talk to him. Although she didn't want to, her mind won and she decided to speak. Rolling her eyes slightly she turned to face the young kid next to her, "Hi," Yuri said giving a friendly smile, "The name's Yuri." I hate this so much, she thought to herself.
Nigel could almost detect a hint of Leave me alone. behind the girl’s words, but he decided to play along for now. “Nice to meet you, I’m Nigel.”
"Nice to meet you," Yuri gave him a little smirk, "So, are you liking it her so far?" Yuri asked trying to create conversation.
Nigel nodded. “I guess so. It’s not as bad as I thought it might be.”, he lied, pretending that he hadn’t been ecstatic to get away from his family. “What grade are you going into?”

(How is your role playing skills? If you're a beginner, this isn't a good one to start with since we are all pretty descriptive in writing.)
I'm pretty good at it but my posting will be scarce because I have school.)

Nigel nodded. “I guess so. It’s not as bad as I thought it might be.”, he lied, pretending that he hadn’t been ecstatic to get away from his family. “What grade are you going into?”
"Yeah, I haven't done much, so I'm not sure if I like it just yet," Yuri's eyes wandered around looking at all the kids who filled the cafeteria, "9th, I'm a freshman, what about you?" Yuri tried to keep the conversation going until the assembly started.
Nigel was mildly surprised, he’d assumed she was at least in the tenth or eleventh grade. “I’m a junior, but it’s my first year at the school.”
Yuri was surprised that he was a junior. I would have thought freshman… "Oh, I was going to guess that you were a freshman," Yuri gave a small laugh, "Yeah, this is my first year too."
Nigel laughed back. "Yeah, I guess I'm sorta short." Leaning back in his seat, he scratched absentmindedly at his neck. "D'you generally enjoy school?"
"Not really," Yuri sighed, "I am not one for sitting at a desk for 70% of my day, listening to teachers drag on about subjects I don't find fascinating, and not being able to make a sound or it will disrupt the classroom. I am more of a hands on kinda kid. I like free running and parkour, something that is entertaining," Yuri gave a small huff of laughter and finally stopped talking about her self and asked, "Do you like school?"
"You parkour? Cool!." Nigel shifted so that he was facing her. "And yeah, makes sense. I guess I like learning, but not the way most teachers do it. I wish we did more critical thinking, plus just relevant stuff in general. Class debates would be fun. Current events."
"Yeah, its one of my favorite hobbies," Yuri smiled proudly, "That's understandable. I defiantly am not one for debates though. I am easily irritated and any debate would not end well for me."
Nigel laughed. "Not so much for me, it takes a lot to get me angry. And where did you learn parkour?"
"That's good. I have a short temper. Also, I am self taught. I actually started doing parkour when I was 12. I watched the Amazing Spider-man and that's where I got my inspiration," Yuri answered his question.
"Wow, impressive." Nigel chuckled, ruffling his curly hair out of habit. "The Amazing Spiderman… is that the one with Tom Holland?" The cute one?
( Okay sounds good )
Lucky sighed, remembering the assembly.
"They have a student assembly thing, so we can meet new people and stuff.." he said, crossing his arms over his chest, "We can just leave your things inside and head down there, yeah?"
Without waiting for an answer, he grabbed his roommates bags, and dropped them on the small couch that had already been in the dorm.
"Let's go make friends!" he sang, skipping down the hall to the cafeteria.
Jordan blinked in surprise. Before he could answer, his roommate was gone. He sighed and made his way down the hallway, hoping he'd be able to find his way to wherever he was supposed to be going.

(I said that I didn't know if more were to be allowed. Again, it's not up to me)
"Wow, impressive." Nigel chuckled, ruffling his curly hair out of habit. "The Amazing Spiderman… is that the one with Tom Holland?" The cute one?
"Thanks," Yuri's confidence rose a little more, "No that's the one with andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) Garfield," Yuri explained.
