"Oh god no…" Paige groaned, face planting into the table. "I'm surrounded by idiots."
"Oh god no…" Paige groaned, face planting into the table. "I'm surrounded by idiots."
Zanna scoffed, "We're all technically delinquents whaddya expect?"
“Watch your cheek,” Vaughn muttered when Paige’s face touched the table, really not int eh mood to go back to the nurses office.
Paige sat up, nodding at Vaughn. The advice didn't help, as her slamming her face into the table already made her cheek sting more.
"More of an arrogant yet irresistible persona. Less of an idiot."
"Irresistible my ass," Sacia snorted, just to be contrary.
"So I know Sacia," Zanna drawled, "But who are y'all?"
Paige sighed. "I don't even know why I try." She didn't answer Zanna's question.
Vaughn glanced at Zanna, contemplating whether to or not. “I’m Vaughn, that’s Paige,” he said quickly, suspecting that she wasn’t going to talk.
"I'm….." She hesitated, nobody here actually knew her name yet. She decided what she would call herself. "I'm Sexy."
She huffed at Vaughn, crossing her arms. Rude. Paige laughed out loud at the girl's response.
(Referencing to Doctor Who, look up Idris)
"You're not sexy," Zanna made a face, "And thanks Vaughn. Paige your weird."
"I take that as a complement." Paige mumbled.
"No, call me Sexy. It's my name" she said, trying to look as serious as possible and succeeding.
If he had been more comfortable around these people, he would have laughed as well. But instead he held his practically emotionless expression, nodding in response to Zanna.
"I don't believe that," Zanna stared her down.
"Well that's what I'll allow you to call me so deal with it."
"I'll call you…" Sacia glared at the girl who called herself sexy. "Um. Weirdo. I'll call you weirdo."
"It's Sexy. I don't answer to weirdo."
"Wow. You are not good at insults." Paige pointed out.
Vaughn heard a light beeping noise and glanced down at his watch. He exhaled slowly, pushing to his feet. “I’ll be right back,” he murmured quickly, turning on his heel and walking away at a fast pace, not in the mood to answer questions.
Paige watched as Vaughn stood up and left. If I was a good person, I would go check on him. Eh, I won't unless someone else does. Or if he doesn't come back in a few minutes.
Vaughn left the room and walked back down the hall towards the infirmary area. When he got there, he sat down on a chair, a nurse smiling in a sickingly sweet manner. “Right on time today, Finley,” she commented, picking up a syringe.
His jaw clenched a tad and he nodded. “I try my best, ma’am,” he responded in a level tone, tugging his collar down and tilting his head to expose more of his neck. Once he did so, the nurse lined up the needle and stuck it into the skin, injecting him with the clear liquid.
Paige tapped her finger on the table, watching the entrance for Vaughn and to see if any guards were listening.
