(And Belle's just having a nightmare. Lol.)
(Belle's just gonna wake up smiling like, "I'm super depressed!")
Riverpaw put the ginger back in its hiding spot, along with the rest of whatever she'd been using, and poured the contents of the bowl into a cup of water. She went back into Belle's room, seeing her asleep again, and sat on the other side of the bed, letting Tsunami jump up next to her.
Rigel waved a hand, “It doesn’t matter in the end, I suppose. I need someone to drive me to the gas station, then back to my bike. I got a lot to do today.” Rigel tapped his fingers, wondering if he should go to Alfonzo’s dump on the south side or the east side last.
(He cough needs someone cough cough to drive him to the gas station)
(Lmao)
“Hey Rigel, need a ride?” Aspen asked sitting on the sofa.
“I’d love one,” Rigel said, still not taking his eyes off his phone, “I’m ready to get going if you are,” Sure, Aspen had just woken up, but he needed to start going early. He’d be searching though town until dusk, or later, today.
“I’m not moving until I have at least a cup of coffee in me.” She glared
“Hurry,” Rigel urged, getting up to pace as he slid his phone in his pocket. It will be fine it will be fine it will be fine Rigel tried to tell himself.

(Lol.)
Belle gasped and sat up, the shaking of the bed waking her up. She blinked for a moment, then realized Riverpaw and the puppy were sitting at the foot of her bed.
"Ugh, sorry, I guess I fell asleep again. Wha'do you have?" she asked, rubbing her eyes.
Riverpaw raised her brow worriedly. "H-hang on, what was that about? Are you okay?"
(same, Aspen)
(Ikr!)
Aspen sighed and put her coffee in a to-go cup. “Let’s go.” She said and went out to her bike. Starting it up, she took a gulp of her coffee.
Rigel shifted his weight from one foot to the other before getting on the bike anxiously. I can be patient. Rigel sat stiffly on the bike, clenching and unclenching his fists waiting for Aspen to start driving.
(gtg, 'nighty)
(Night!)
“Where do we go first?” She asked backing out
Riverpaw raised her brow worriedly. "H-hang on, what was that about? Are you okay?"
Belle shook her head. Therewas no reason to worry the girl.
"It was nothing," she assured her. "Now, what do you have?"
Riverpaw sighed, moving up the bed to sit next to Belle, and she handed her the cup. "Don't uh..worry about what's in it. Have you ever had ginger anything before?"
"Some ginger candy, but that's all," Belle said, glancing down into the cup. "This'll take my migraine away?"
Riverpaw smiled and nodded. "And i-it might taste a little weird at first, but it'll get better…I think."
"Okay." Belle took a sip, making a face at her first taste of the concoction. She rubbed her tongue over the roof of her mouth before taking another drink.
Riverpaw smirked at Belle's face, holding in a laugh, and she pulled Tsunami back when she tried to climb onto Belle, probably curious about the cup. "Is it okay?"
“Where do we go first?” She asked backing out
“Gas station, I’ll buy a tank then we can head to my bike,” Rigel replied, tapping his fingers on his knee. So much to do today… Rigel pulled out a cig and lit it, despite them about to get going. Just something to calm me down…
Riverpaw smirked at Belle's face, holding in a laugh, and she pulled Tsunami back when she tried to climb onto Belle, probably curious about the cup. "Is it okay?"
Belle pursed her lips, then rubbed them together.
"It's… different," she mumbled around the cup. She could already feel the headache staeting to go away.
Riverpaw tilted her head a bit, giving a hopeful look. "Is it good different? I-is it at least helping?"
"Uh… It's, like, spicy-different? I don't know. But, yes, it's helping. A lot, actually," Belle answered. She took another drink and noticed she'd almost finished the whole cup already.
Riverpaw pumped her fists in a small victory, proud that it worked this time. She had tried something like this with her sister a few weeks ago, when she was sick, but it had ended up only making things worse.
Belle drained the last of the mystery liquid, then set the cup on the nightstand.
"What was in that, anyway?" she asked, curious.
