(Wait, how come?)
(Cause he’s currently passed out, but maybe half-way thru the party he could come… Since I was thinking of a Rigel/Aspen relationship development, @StarkSpangledBanner, will Aspen go to the party?)

Riverpaw put Tsunami down on Belle's bed, then went over and filled her bowls with food and water. Tsunami new what was coming, so she whined pitifully, hoping to change Riverpaw's mind. "N-no, Tsuna, you can't be out there during a party. Too much going on. I might not even b-be out there most of the time."
"Hey, Riv! There are t-r-e-a-t-s in the kitchen for Tsunami if you want to give her one. Or a few…" Liz called from the living room.
Belle looked at her nails as she waited for people to come.
Riverpaw poked her head out of the room. "Sure, but she still can't come out during the party." Riverpaw closed the door, making sure the pup didn't try to slip through, and went to the kitchen.
Colden drank some water, and waited.
Liz joined Riverpaw in the kitchen and showed her where the treats were.
"Yeah, I know. I just wanted to let you know that," she explained.
Riverpaw hummed and took a handful of treats, then ran back to the room. Tsunami immediately started jumping and yipping, trying to get to Riverpaw's hand as she held the treats out of reach. "Sit." She said sternly, and Tsunami did as told, getting a treat in reward. "Okay, stay here, a-and please don't scratch up the door again." Riverpaw put the rest of the treats in her pocket and left the room, going out to the door to see what Belle was doing.
"What's up, Riv?" Belle asked, turning to the girl. "How's Tsuna doing?"
"Mm…upset that she can't be out in the party again, but s-she'll be fine, she always is." Riverpaw leaned on Belle, hugging her arm. "How are you doing?"
Belle nodded, understanding about the dog.
"I'm good. Though I'm just now wondering if Liz spiked the punch…" she mused. "I hope she didn't. Or that she at least saved some normal for you."
he looked over and told them "If it is there is always water available."
Riverpaw hummed, then giggled at a thought. Her sister had had spiked punch at a party once, and it haunted her to this day. Another reason neither of them were much for parties.
"Water is boring, Col," Liz declared from the kitchen. "And I did save some punch unspiked, Belle. I know there are people who don't drink. It's labeled, too."
Belle nodded. "Good."
"I am sorry water is boring Liz, and I am only here because i kept getting told to come here."
Liz snorted and rolled her eyes.
"Well, I'm tired of waiting for others to show up, so I'm getting snacks and something to drink, and then I'm blasting music," Belle declared, and walking into the kitchen.
Riverpaw followed her. "C-can I pick a song first? Please?"
Belle pulled her phone out and connected it to the Bluetooth speaker before handing it to Riverpaw. "Go ahead."
He looked down at his phone for a little while.
Riverpaw stuck her tongue out a bit as she looked for Wait by Maroon 5. When she found it, she showed Belle. "That one good?"
August pulled Meun closer, his arms wrapping around him once more. "Don't you ever say that again, okay? Because you're one of the most amazing people I know. You're unique, and kind, and funny, and cute. I don't think I could've made it through what you did. You've been so, so, strong, and it's okay if you let others be strong for you for a while. You are not replaceable or disposable, and anyone who told you that you are was just lying."
(Idk if anyone saw this so….)
"Nice song." he said and looked up at her.
(Never heard of that. Lol.)
"Sure," Belle agreed with a shrug. "I honestly don't care what we listen to."
She grabbed a paper plate and started piling food on it.
(Oof sorry, I never did see that)
Meun nodded, still sniffling and sobbing as he clung to August. It had been so long since anyone had been this kind to him, and the gesture was definitely something he appreciated
(really, you've never heard that song?)
Riverpaw smiled and played the song, putting the phone down next to the speaker.
Colden got up and went to grab some food.
