"What? Me? Make fun of you? Never!" Kasey declared, holding back her laughter.
"What? Me? Make fun of you? Never!" Kasey declared, holding back her laughter.
"Good. That's good." Liam kissed her cheek.
Kasey let out a giggle as she grinned, then kissed his cheek back. "Can we get out of the kitchen? My leg is starting to hurt from all this standing."
"Yup," Liam grinned before picking Kasey up bridal style, "Where to, love?"
"Hey!" Kasey laughed, shaking her head in amusement. "The living room would be great."
"Alrighty then." Liam chuckled and walked them over to the living room, placing Kasey gently on the couch.
"Thanks," Kasey said, her voice still holding slight laughter. "You want to play a game?"
"Depends on the game. What do you have in mind?" Liam asked, leaning back in the chair.
"Um… We could play 'Sorry!'?" Kasey suggested with a shrug.
"What's that? Have I done something wrong?" Liam frowned a little.
"It's a board game, Liam," Kasey laughed lightly. "Maybe we should just play Monopoly."
Liam mentally hit himself, “Right, Yeah um… monopoly sounds good but I don’t mind what we play…”
"We could play Risk, too…" Kasey said, humming thoughtfully. "Have you heard of it?"
Liam shook his head, “Nope, I have not.”
"It's really fun. And intense. You basically have to take over the whole world," Kasey explained with a smile.
Liam cocked his head to the side with a smile, “Who woulda thought the super finds taking over the world… fun.”
"It's not like it's real," Kasey said defensively, blushing a bit.
“I know I know,” Liam kissed her cheek, “I was just teasing.”
Kasey stuck her tongue out at him. "So, anyway… Did you want to okay that? It's in the cabinet beside the TV, if you do."
“Sure, why not. Sounds like fun.” Liam stood from the couch and walked towards the cabinet, pulling out the game.
Kasey carefully moved to sit in the floor and patted the space in front of her for Liam to put the box down. "I'll set it up and show you how to play."
“That would be helpful.” Liam laughed a little and placed the box down then sat.
Kasey set the game up easily. She explained to Liam how to play as she did so, showing him what pieces were for what.
(Sure)
After the game finished, Liam sighed a little, “That wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be.”
Kasey stared at the board with a slight frown, her eyebrows furrowed. "I can't believe you beat me…"
