Satsu blushed blue and smiled,snuggling in. "Thank you. I hope it doesn't rain too much…" He said as he watched it fall out the window, before shaking his head and returning to building,humming to the music a bit. It was a specific station they always listened to, Lofi Oldies With Fire,and it was always live with no ads. The whole mood was snuggly and warm,and so his warmth was that of a heated blanket,feeling really relaxed.
He nods slowly, however, he knew that based on the sound of the rain and the storm, it would last a while. But that was fine. They were safe in here. Axel was very relaxed at the moment, the warmth of the other easing him slightly. He played for a little while and nuzzled closer to Satsu. He hummed along with the music, just feeling at utter peace.
They played for a good hour or so before they got bored,and the rain was starting to make Satsu sleepy as he yawned and stretched a bit in Axel's lap.
He was getting rather tired himself, the warmth of the other making him slowly ease. He nuzzled into the others shoulder and gave a happy little sigh. "Do you wanna go to bed?" He asks curiously. He was tired and wanted nothing more than curl around Satsu and sleep. He hummed quietly, his eyes shutting.
Satsu nodded gently as he continued to play, and after he finished what he is doing he turned it off. He refused to get out of Axel's lap, snuggling in more as he put his controller to the side.
Axel smiled a little bit as he felt Satsu nod, finishing what he was doing and setting his controller down. He hummed quietly and gently picked Satsu up, carrying him to Axel's room. He tucks Satsu in before going and getting into more comfortable clothes, just some sweats and a tanktop. He settles back into bed and gazes at the other for a moment.
"I am so glad I'm wearing comfy clothes. I don't feel like getting out of my blanket burrito." He says with a soft smile,all snuggled up on top of the blankets, before he took off his blue glasses and set them on the side table.
Axel laughs a little bit at the others words. "I don't blame you." He hummed quietly and adjusts himself in bed. This was nice. Then again, it was always nice to have the other over, always nice to spend time with him and talk to him. Satsu was Axel's closest friend.
Satsu sighed as he wiggled over to Axel and put his head under his friends chin. "I'm glad I get to stay the whole weekend." There was a happy warm tone in his voice as he said this.
(Bump!)
He nods and smiles as well, ran his hand through Satsu's hair. "I'm glad that you get to stay here the whole weekend." He murmured. He always eased when the other was here, and his wretched anxiety was rarely present when he had Satsu with him.
He nuzzled into the head scritches, a smile on his face as he closed his eyes. He then reached out of the blanket and put back on his special gloves. "In case I have a night mare and flame in the night." He explained yet again. He then unfurled from the blanket burrito and got under all the blankets, and cuddled up. "Turn off the lights? I'm not ready for bed quiet yet but, I would prefer it to be dark." He said softly.
Axel was content like this, his eyes soft as he gazed at his friend. He nods slowly at the sight of the gloves. That made sense, afterall. He hummed quietly and slowly stood up, stretching as he wanders over to the lights. Unlike Satsu, Axel didn't have any superpowers. He was just dull, boring Axel. He sighed and turned of the lights before walking back to the bed and snuggling under the covers. Yes, this was much more comfortable.
Satsu cuddled in and went silent as the dark fell over them, closing his eyes. It seemed he was asleep but really he was just enjoying the warmth and comfortable silence. He took a few deep breaths and relaxed even more,not sure what to talk about.
Axel was quiet as the other slowly fell asleep, his hands trembling as he curled closer to his friend. He'd always do this, rub Satsu's back until he was asleep. It was comforting for him to curl around Satsu and just… hold him. He waited for a while before slowly tracing the soft phrase I love you' on his back. He kept his eyes closed, scared really. He was sure that Satsu was asleep. He had to be, right?
He flinched, as he followed the movement of I Love You back and forth across his back a few times. At first he didn't know what Axel was writing but once he got it he shuffled and turned around to look him in his eyes, his whole face blue. He took a few deep breaths and then got closer, whispering with his last ounce of strength. "I love you too…" Before burying his face into his neck.
His heart hammered in his chest, he was so, so scared. He didn't want to be rejected. But what if all Satsu saw him as was a friend? He flinched when the other turned around, withdrawing his hands quickly. He went to apologize but he stopped before slowly easing around the other. He smiled to himself, his heart bursting. "I'm glad…" He whispers softly. "Now get some sleep…" He murmured.

Satsu's whole body got warmer and warmer as his face only cooled in embarrassment. If he got too embarrassed for too long it could kill him, so he was trying to just calm himself down as he lay there, staring at Axels chest. He really hoped it was a romantic I love you, and not a friendly one, as the two had been very close for a long time, to the point where they'd say Love you. But there was never an I Love You. That was too direct, too pointed, more of a romantic statement. At least, that's what Satsu perceived it as. He couldn't sleep though, and spent all night tossing and turning, trying to settle in, but his heart was too busy having a drum solo in his chest and his brain was dancing along to the beat.
Axel seemed to relax, he was dead tired, but he was happy. He seemed to have dozed off, but his mind was wandering nervously. He could feel his friend shifting and moving somewhere in his subconsciousness but he left it at that. He woke up in the morning feeling nervous, but also a little hopeful. He curled around his friend gently, wrapping his arms around Satsu. He always tended to do this whenever Satsu stayed the night. In the morning he would curl into his friend and keep the other to his chest. It was just nice to hold Satsu in his arms.
Satsu yawned as he snuggled into Axel, having not slept a wink and watching the sun come up. "Gmorning sleepy head." Satsu said groggily, turning towards Axel and very lightly kissing his nose. "How'd you sleep?" He asked this softly, cuddling into his friend?
Axel hummed softly and smiled at the other, leaning into the kiss to his nose before humming and pressing a soft kiss to Satsu's forehead. "I slept okay." He murmured quietly. "About last night… I meant what I said… or wrote?" He paused. "I just… I mean it. I really love you. You're just so amazing and kind… and I-" He held Satsu closer.
Satsu blushed again and hid in Axels neck. "S-stop that h-h-ha…handsome…" He murmured very quietly, picking at his fingernails, a sure tell sign of his anxiety kicking up. "You're gonna k-kill me with all of th-this blushiiiiing…" He also whined a bit and hid even more. "Let's…let's get breakfast please."
Axel smiled a little and nods slowly. "Breakfast it is." He slips out of bed and quietly gets dressed, lazily putting his hair into a bun and getting into some casual clothes. He hums and stretches. "Take as much time as you need getting out of bed. You know where the kitchen is." He teases quietly. Axel glances over at his friend…? He didn't know what he could call Satsu now.
Satsu nodded and lay there after Axel left, sitting up and doing some breathing exercises to calm himself down a bit. When he finally did he headed down the stairs, wearing his usual blanket cape, dragging the huge bed comforter down the stairs with him as he tiredly waddled into the kitchen and put his head on Axels shoulder, humming softly. "What's for breakfast?"
