tune

Markus hums under his breath, matching his chords with the tune he was humming.

(Is it 'Mark,' 'Markus,' or both?)
Tod smiles at the harmony of the two guitars, accompanied by Markus' voice. Gosh, Tod loves music!

Rose began to play in time with Mark and Tod. She smiled as the drums obeyed her will.

(He goes by either)
"Oh little child o' mine…" he breathes, humming to the music.

(Right, thanks.)

Tod pauses his playing a moment, then joins in again to match the key that Mark is in.

Kai began to concentrate on the bass cords, pulling them out long and slow one moment then plucking them quickly in a jumpy, happy feeling. He let himself go to flow with the music, laying the foundation of the melody.

Rose beat the drums along with the rhythm making the little tune a full on song. Giving everyone a sense of beat.

Markus smiles at the others, his fingers moving along the stings of the guitar. He loved playing music. He loved everything about music. And he could not be more happy to be in a band with this group of amazing people.

Dawn smiled at the band messing around with their tunes. She hummed along with the new song that started to come together, testing out vocals for it. Words flowed into her mind, and she raced over to her backpack, which she had set near the door, to grab her music sheets and pencil. Once she had them in her hand, she quickly scribbled out the notes and lyrics in her head.

Markus nods his head to the beat, smiling at his group of friends. He felt free here. At home life was a nightmare. But here? Here was his life. His hopes and dreams. This is what he loved about life.

"Two songs in one day! I think that's a new record!" Dawn exclaimed as she finished her notes and stood up.

"Heck yeah!" Markus pumps his fist, smiling. "Next thing you know we'll have an entire album!" he cheers.

Tod perks up at the idea of them creating a full album. It wouldn't be impossible, difficult yes, but not impossible. "Man, that'd be totally awesome!" he adds to Mark's comment.

He nods, "Heck yeah it would!" He replies enthusiastically.

"If only," Rose sang.

"Aww, c'mon sweetheart, don't be like that!" Markus cries, chuckling softly.

Rose giggled, "Give me an opportunity to make a song reference and I will. We'll make it big someday."

"Fair enough! And I believe we will. Just you wait! We're going to be the biggest hotshots in the world!" He grins, already daydreaming.

"Yeah we're gonna make it big time!" Rose sang shouted. She didn't know the exact lyrics but it was close enough.

"TONIGHT WE ARE VICTORIOUS!!" Mark shouts, strumming the chords along.

Rose kicked off the beat, "Champagne pouring over us!"

"All my friends were glorious!" Mark plays in reply to Rose.
