"All right, I've gotta go turn the soundboard on quick before I start," Dawn said, leaving the mic to walk over to the board covered in knobs and buttons and lights. She blew out a breath as she looked at it, trying to remember what to do. "Aha! That's right," she exclaimed, flipping a switch and twisting a knob. The soundboard lit up and the mic turned on.
Dawn made her way back over to the mic. "You guys ready?" she asked, her voice booming out of the speakers.
(@RedEeveestar, oops. Is Kai usually late? :P)
Tod nods. "Yeah," He says quietly.
"Ready when you are!" Kai called.
"YEAH!" Rose screamed.

Tod nods. "Yeah," He says quietly.
(xD yeah he is)
Dawn smiled, then cleared her throat. She tapped out a rhythm on her leg before starting singing a fast, upbeat song. A few minutes later, she finished and looked over the rest of the group.
"So… What'd you think?" she asked, grinning.
"Let's do it," Rose loved the faster songs. It meant she could do more stuff on her drums.
(@RedEeveestar, let's say Tod's I'm not late was a sarcastic thought. :P)
Tod nods agreeably. "Yeah, how long did it take you write up the frame for this one?"
"Great! It took me a couple of days. I started it yesterday and it just flowed out," Dawn said. She stepped down from the mic and back over to the soundboard, turning it off.
(I've gtg. I'll be back tomorrow.)
(Bye!)
(See you later, then.)
"Man," Tod shakes his head admiringly. "I wish I could write like you."
(I AM SO SORRY!! I had a Japanese lesson… hehe… How should I bring in Mark?)
(Just meet us at the warehouse.)
Rose beat on the drums in rhythms trying to figure out what would go well with the lyrics. Maybe Bass, bass, snare, cymbal? No didn't sound right.
(@Sorceress is gone for the night, but you could still bring him in now. Catch up on what has happened so far. Mark's not being there could easily be explained away simply because he was work or something similar.)
(Kay)
The door slides open to reveal the lanky build of Mark. He was breathing heavily, his guitar slung over his back. He catches his breath for a second before waving, "Hey guys. Sorry I'm late. Family stuff." He smiles.
"That's cool," Rose legs started bouncing, "You're here now, cutie!"
Tod nods at Mark in greeting. "Yeah, we can still go over a few things if you'd like." He hops off of his stool. "But you should've heard Dawn's new one."
He chuckles, "Hey, beautiful." Markus was always like that, flirtatious. Smooth. He smiles before drawing out his guitar. He hums as he tunes it, nodding as he's satisfied.
Rose giggled, "Just don't be late again handsome."
She beat on the snares trying to flush out a pattern that would work.
He nods, "No issue, sweetheart." He smiles and strums a few chords. "So. What did the Amazing Dawn write for us today?" He asks cheerfully.
Tod rolls his eyes at their flirting. "Something uplifting for a change." He explains, pulling his guitar out as well. "But I like it. As you know, I usually go for the more dismal tunes, but this one really draws me in."
"Heh. That's a first for you, Toddy." He smirks, strumming a few minor chords.
Tod nods, meeting Mark's chords with ones that are lower, sad. "Seriously."
