"Not yet," Kelly smirked, teasingly.
"Not yet," Kelly smirked, teasingly.
Kerenza giggles, smiling. "I should let you rest Kel…see you in the morning…?" She hugs her friend.
Castor sent a gentle breeze to Kerenza. It brushed her hair behind her ear and whispered so only she could hear it: Can we talk?
Kerenza freezes slightly, but she nods. "Ok…"
"Yeah, see you," Kelly squeezed Kerenza back and escorted her out of the door. She noticed Kerenza falter for a moment. "Are you ok?"
Kerenza nods, forcing a small and convinced smile. "I'm fine…see you in the morning Kel…"
"Ok," Kelly said, shutting her door. Once it was closed, she began to panic. What made Kerenza stop in her tracks for a split second, then lie to her. Castor, she thought angrily.
Kerenza slumps as she walks to her room, then closes the door, locking it. She sits on the edge of her bed. "Why do you want to talk Castor?"
Castor materializes in front of her, bringing a sudden chill to the room. He isn't smirking, as usual. He wears an expression of pity. "You know that something is wrong with Kelly. Don't you want to help her?"
Kerenza shivers, rubbing her arms with her hands, and nods. "Of course I want to help her. She's my best friend…" She falters, pausing and looking away from him.
"Here's the deal," Castor began, smirking. (I has no idea what to say…)
Kerenza looks up at him, confused but listening. "Deal…?"
(Umm…he has her do jobs for him, where he nearly owns her life, for advise for her to help Kelly)
"You do some things for me… and I help you help Kelly," Castor smiled, making it look genuine.
Kerenza looks down, contemplating. "What's in it for you?"
"Nothing specific," Castor shrugged. "If you don't care about your friend, that's not my problem…"
Kerenza takes a small unsteady breath. “Deal…”
Castor nods. "Alright then, see you tomorrow," he winks, then disappears.
Breeze to Meg: Let's talk. Just hear me out.
Meg shrieked. “What the (insert profanity)!”
It's me. Can we please talk?
“Um, no.” Meg said, spinning around wildly and trying to spot Castor, swatting at the air.
Please? It's about Kelly.
Meg froze. “Um. Uh. Fine. But- but you better not be- not be lying…” Meg stuttered.
Castor appeared behind her. "I'm not."
“ARGH!” Meg jumped sky high. “WHAT THE (insert profanity)!”
Castor looked confused. "Um… calm down. No one can know that I'm here."
