@ElderGod-Icefire
Nik nodded a little. "Yeah. Roll over so I can get to them." he replied, eyes tracing the ropes across Eclipse's body.
Nik nodded a little. "Yeah. Roll over so I can get to them." he replied, eyes tracing the ropes across Eclipse's body.
Eclipse nodded, rolling so he could reach the ones by his hands. "Work quickly, I think they'll come back for us soon…"
Nik nodded, and got to work. He made a face. The rope tasted disgusting. But he ignored that as he chewed at it, trying to break it.
Eclipse occasionally tried to tug out of the ropes as the other worked, but he wasn't able to pull free. This was mostly because not half an hour later, as predawn grew, he heard footsteps. Tapping Nik's cheek he gestured for the other to pull away, hoping he'd do so in time.
Nik's eyes widened slightly, and he squirmed away from Eclipse, rolling so his back was to the other male. He looked around, and his eyes landed on the approaching figure.
Eclipse growled softly on instinct as the man approached, his eyes following his shadow, noting that it was the same guy from earlier.
"Boss want's to see you" he said, grabbing both of them by the collars of their shirts.
Nik inhaled, flinching a little bit. "We can walk." he snapped. "Now put me down." his voice was firm, and angry. He sounded like the prince he was.
Eclipse growled, "I don't appreciate being carried." he said, his tone as defiant as possible.
The man dropped both of them. "Then get up and walk." he said flatly.
Nik grunted softly, and wobbled as he forced himself to his feet. His already pale face went even paler as he put weight on the injured leg.
Eclipse rolled to his feet, his eyes flicking to Nik with concern, and he moved to the other's side before being shoved back, then pulled towards camp, Nik pulled with them.
Nik took a deep breath. He stumbled and limped heavily as they walked, leaning against Eclipse a little. He swallowed. He followed the enemy man.
Eclipse did his best to support the other while being unable to move his arms, following the man into camp, where the smell of breakfast hit him, sparking low growling in his stomach, making him realize that he hadn't eaten since the day before yesterday.
Nik's own stomach growled when he smelled the food, the monster stirring inside him again, though weaker with the rising sun. The man leading them smirked. "If you wanted food, then you should have thought of that before trying to escape." he hissed.
Eclipse simply gave another growl of defiance, glaring at him as they were led to a command tent. Eclipse personally found himself distracted by the thought of food, as well as the thought of shifting to run free in the woods, and maybe hunt his own food for once. Man that notion was tempting.
They were led into the tent, and then the man left again. Nik half sat, half collapsed, face white and pale. He waited for someone else to come in, taking deep breaths. He was exhausted, bloody, and in pain. Not a great combination.
Eclipse managed to kneel beside him, giving him a shoulder to lean on. "You okay?" he asked quietly, hoping he wasn't about to pass out on him.
Nik nodded, catching his breath. "My leg is…not doing so hot." he replied slowly, swallowing and trying not to show how much pain he was in.
Eclipse nodded sympathetically, "And my wolf instincts keep trying to take over on me.." he said softly, getting down beside him, hoping to comfort him somehow.
Nik swallowed, and leaned his head on Eclipse's shoulder. "If you let the wolf out…maybe you could escape." he replied softly. "Get out of here, and head to the capital of Kevra. Find my guards, come back here." he chuckled softly.
"I'm not leaving you here" he said softly, "Besides, shifting would just get me hurt because of how I'm tied up, I'd be useless…" he sighed.
"Oh." Nik sighed softly. "I don't know what to do, then." he replied, closing his eyes tiredly. "I'm sorry." he was useless, he realized.
Eclipse sighed, "We'll figure it out." he said softly, "I'm sure we will…"
Just then, the tent flaps behind the opened.
"I hope so." Nik replied. He glanced over as the tent opened, and he paled a little. "Seren?" he asked softly.
The man looked at them with a faint smirk. There was a horrific scar on the left side of his face. "Exactly, Nikolas."
Eclipse looked at both in total confusion. "Someone tell me what's going on here??" he asked, weirded out. Eclipse's eyes locked on the newcomer, immediate distrust in his gaze as he studied the other.
"He was my dad's guard for years." Nikolas replied quietly. "He was…I treated him like an uncle. Like family."
"Yes, right up until you decided to tear my face off." Seren replied in an amiable tone. He sat down, stretching his legs out and studying the two princes.
