( Alright then……..I'm sorry it isn't humanly sad though…….I really tried.)
Zoe froze. Her eyes darted around, her mind racing until she decided to speak, her back still facing Zhavia as Zoe looked upon the setting sun.
(Ok this is like a flashback and basically, she's narrating this like they're in a movie if any of you are confused.)
"Many would say my father used to be a great scientist, but he went mad not long after my mother left us for another man, another life. Poor, we scrambled for whatever was on the streets. People thought he was mad, he went raving on and on about a terrifying machine he could build that would be able to bend time and matter. He was approached by the Panther and he offered a deal. If my father could create this machine, he would provide for and protect us. My father immediately agreed to this and started building right away with the materials provided for him. I watched him work; he never really spent any time with me anymore, focusing on his project. Obviously, I was proud of him because I knew he could do it. But it was all a mistake." Zoe looked down at her feet as she spoke, her breathing uneven and rapid as the memories the flooded her brain, scenes replaying before her eyes. "One day, while he was working on the machine, it started to malfunction.
"Peaches I need you to follow Ms.Grey ok?" He tried to say in a reassuring voice but, his words came out were hollow and his face betrayed his emotions, eyes gleaming with worry. Before the little girl could reply, a woman had taken her away, dragging her along as the girl screamed for her father, the whirring growing louder. A sheering bright light glowing bright and brighter each moment. She managed to wrestle out of the woman's stone grip and ran towards her dad. "Father!" She cried out and collapsed on her knees. After that, everything seemed was inaudible to her. The only thing they could do was huddle together, clutching on to one another for dear life. The machine gave off an explosion, that radiated around the warehouse and knocked her out. When she woke up, she discovered her dad, laying next to her, dead. "Dad, DAD!" She screamed, shaking her father frantically, trying to wake him from an endless sleep, sirens screeching in the background. Hot tears rolled down her face as she sobbed.
I knew I couldn't save him, but the truth is… I didn't want him to be alone." Zoe closed her eyes, refusing to let any tears flow. A lump in her throat prevented her from speaking further. She clutched a little pin, emblazoned with two swords clashing together, in her right hand, the design pressing into her skin.
Immediately, Zoe regretted closing her eyes as more memories flashed through her mind. James, James, JAMES!
You could have saved him.
Maybe you should stop ignoring me.
Queen of Ghosts.
You lied…

Zhavia's emotions ran wild listening to Zoe's past. She wasn't sure if she should hug her, or keep her distance. Zoe's was very unpredictable, and she was none too happy with Zhavia as of late, so she chose to keep her distance. "I'm sorry,"
