Luna felt a man pulling her towards the test. She struggled slightly before being forced into the testing area. She cried out, "Solo tengo seis anos!"

(Trans: I'm only six!

"Oh, so neither of you have been here very long," Cyrus concluded, "Well, it's nice to meet you, and I-I hope we can be friends."

"No we haven't. I feel like we are going to be friends for as long as we are togather!" she said happily
(can the 3 of us be besties? and have to hide it from the other Assassin's because 'wtch your own back'? it could be like us giving dirty looks and what not but, since those of similar ages have roomamates, we laugh about it at night!)

"Yeah," Cyrus sighed happily. He felt a sort of warmth flood his body. There had been other kids around before, but he had always been afraid of putting forth the effort to get to know them. Now, here he was, already making friends at his initiation. It wasn't so hard.
"We have to trust one another to make it on missions, so why not be friends while we're at it?"

"that's a good idea. we need a signal to show that we need to talk or something becasue i dont think friendships are common here." she said offhandedly

"Sure," Cyrus agreed, "Did you have anything in mind?"
He watched Luna in the distance, and she was trying to do her initiation. His attention was turned from Eira and Sparrow.
"Oh, god. She looks so young. Do you think she'll be okay?"

Luna was scared. She spotted the knives and reached for one. Just like mama taight you focus aim and Throw! The knife hit the target. It was not a bullseye but close.

"i hope so! she reminds me of my little brother before he-um he-" her voice wavered.

“You okay, Sparrow?” Eira asked her new friend

"Sorry, i had a twin brother named Elliot and another 6 year old brother named Calum who didn't get out of the car in time." she said quietly. She whistled a low tune. It always calmed her down, it was from a toy her mother had gotten for her brothers and her.
(once everyone who needs to/wants to do initiation passes it, we'll skip to 'present day')

Eira hugged her friend, “Oh, I’m so sorry. I know it’s not the same but you have me and Cyrus now…”

"Yeah, i hope we stay friends forever!" she said happily.

“Same, we can face the challenges of this place together!” She beamed at her new friends.

Luna practically jumped for joy. She hit it! She hit the target! The man pushed her to the next section. She had the option between a weird looking thing and a bow. She picked up the bow.

sparrow watched the girl with interest. if she could shoot a bow that well, well then her parents must have been doing this type of thing for a while now

Her arm was shaky as she notched an arrow and pulled it back to her ear. Her father took her out hunting. She tried to mimic his stance while she aimed the arrow. She had aimed for the center, but it moved slightly up as she let the arrow fly. The arrow flew straight and hit the center of the bullseye. She was beaming.
