Staring towards the closed door, Sparrow sighed 'if this goes wrong this is the last time any of us will see each other.' she thought. "This has to go as planned, or else this is the last conversation we will have." She said hardly
Luna fiddled with her hood and gave a silent nod. She was well aware this might be the last time she saw any of them.
(So where are they at the moment?)
"I know," Cyrus muttered, his eyes cutting away hard.
There was a very unusual anger about him, and it was making him even more tense than normal. If they didn't make it out, he was pretty sure that was it for the rest of the people in the White Wing guild too.
(A storage room? Idk it's a small room in a 3 story buidling/house. They are in a basement or a second basement)
"We ready?" She asked nervously cracking her knuckles. This was it, the day that she could finally let go of her past and look towards her future happily. This was the point in her life where she could say she successfully accomplished something. Yet something was consistently bugging her. She frowned, trying to think of what it was she may have missed when she came to the realization "where did the kids go? After we found them, what did we do to them? Sent them on their way or told them to hide?" She asked
Luna thought for a moment. She pushed her memory as to what they told them, "I-I think w-we told th-them to g-go back t-to the g-guild."
She nodded "let's just hope they made it back safely. Sparrow stood up straighter and walked towards the door "it's now or never."
Luna carefully made her way towards the door. She still felt exposed without her bow, but it was going to be fine. It had to be.
Sparrow nodded and quietly snuck outside. "Do you remember where the office was?" She asked Luna in a low voice
"Paaaaantherrrr!" Cyrus called down the halls, once he and Uriah had separated from the girls.
He had an oddly sing-song way about how he spoke, but at this point, it was mostly because he was exhausted and didn't feel like keeping up his serious, composed facade anymore.
"I-It was th-this way," Luna whispered as she began moving in the direction that the office was.
(Lmao, me too Cyrus)
Sparrow nodded and followed Luna, making sure to mentally note down any exts she saw on the way.
(Sorry. I'm here.)
Uriah simply just walked out. Sure he was nervous, but he hid it very well. His body ached with every step. He bit his lip to try and stop him from screaming."Let's go this way." Uriah grabbed Cy by the arm and tugged him down the hall. It was difficult since he didn't have much strength, but he did anyway.
"It's all good," Cyrus murmured, "I think they're far enough away by now."
His gaze shifted up and down over Uriah. "Take it easy while you still can."
He looked up ahead. No sign of his grandfather yet.
Sparrow looked at luna and stopped short "here it is, let's head inside." She said
"There's no way I can take it easy now." Uriah's voice was a bit harsh, but he didn't direct it towards Cy. "I'll rest once Panther is gone." If I don't die first, he thought. "Everyone else was in a bit better shape, so if he had to be the only to die, he was pretty okay with that, which probably wasn't the best mindset.
"Understandable," Cyrus sighed, "Just be careful, okay?"
He forged ahead a bit and called Panther's name out again. Now he was getting a bit impatient.
"Old man said he'd be waiting for us."
Uriah did his best to stand straight so he would somewhat match Cyrus height. If Panther thought he was too weak he would probably just get rid of him on the spot. "I'll be fine. Let's just worry about finish this."
Unconvinced, Cyrus let out a clipped sigh and looked away from Uriah.
"Stubborn… as always…"
He laughed very lightly, his voice clouded by a certain sadness.
Panther came out of a room and looked at the two young males with a curious look on his face. "There you are, why were you calling me?" he asked slightly upset as he was just about to head to his office to find a file on the Red Fang guild.
Uriah heard what Cyrus said and laughed, "Worried, as always." He missed this. Even if he was only gone for a couple weeks, it felt like forever. "Changing the subject, how are you and Sparrow doing?" He hoped they were doing well. It was obvious they liked each other.
"We were looking for you?" Cyrus said, "You said you wanted to see us, yeah?"
He shifted most of his weight onto his good leg and the crutch on that side.
"I did?" He asked. Realizing he seemed stupid in front of them he collected him self and coughed "I mean, I did. Let's walk."
(I decided to change Luna's name from Andromeda to Aerwyn, it's a variation of Earwyn)
(Oooh, that's pretty.)
Cyrus bit at his lip. "Uh, yeah. Losing your head already? I didn't realize you were quite that old."
(But also the site's getting all dramatic here and there again and even I had to get involved in something because it kind of struck a nerve and ahhhhh)
