Luna was a little surprised when he pulled her behind a curtain and her eyes grew wider as he poured out his confession. Clearly he didn't remember everything from before they got captured, but she gave him a small smile as her cheeks heated up to a rosy pink as well, "I-I understand. I-I'm in l-love with y-you as w-well, Uriah." She couldn't keep her looking at him after that and glanced down towards the ground. Her face was now a bright red.
(Sorry, I'm here. I was a bit busy.)
Uriah smiled and lifted her chin to look at him. "I'm happy." His eyes darted around not sure if he could look at her. "Um, so I have to get going, but um," He pused wondering if he should even ask. "WoOld it be okay if I kissed you. If not of course that's fine with me." Why am I like this? I'm not usually this awkward.
Luna finally could look him in the eyes. She could feel her heart racing as he held her chin and then asked if he could kiss her. This could be their last moment together, who knows what was going to happen to him afterwards. As for last moment go, finally getting confessions out of them both, even though Luna had given hers before they got captured and Uriah hadn't seemed to remember it, wasn't that bad of an ending. She felt her mouth go dry as she responded, "K-kiss me. P-Please."
(Have Sparrow and Cyrus even kissed yet?)
(…I think they have? But I don't know. I'm going back and checking right now.)
(I'm pretty sure they have done like cheek/forehead kisses at least)
(I'm not sure. Haha.)
Uriah cupped her cheeks in his hands and leaned down. His lips pressed against hers. Luna was small, and adorable, all he wanted to do was hold her in his arms, but sadly that couldn't happen right now. His lips were dry and he felt bad, but this may be the last time, so he would take the chance. His eyes closed and he took all this in. And for a moment Zhavia showed up in his mind. All she did was smile, and walk away into the darkness, as if telling him goodbye and setting him free. He pulled away and tears ran down his face. They were sad and happy tears. Now, Uriah could never forget Zhavia completely, but he had someone here he cared about more and he wasn't going to let anything happen to this girl he loved.
Luna's eyes closed the moment their lips touched and she pushed back against him. This was her first kiss and dios was she happy it was with Uriah. The timing could have been better for this type of thing, but it was better now than ever. When she felt Uriah pull away her eyes fluttered open and she could see his tears running down his face. Without thinking she reached up with her hand to hold his cheek and wipe the tears away with her thumb. Luna could figure why he was crying, but she couldn't tell if they were happy or sad. They looked like they were both.
(I've read through where I think it would be, and no. Sparrow and Cyrus have not kissed properly to my knowledge.)
(Ahhhh we'll get there eventually. He's a shy boi lol)
"Ah, sorry I didn't mean to cry." So many things have been happening to him and Uriah thought it was just all the emotions that were built up. "I really do have to go though." It made him sad to say that since, they were both on the same page. Uriah quickly gave her one more kiss. "Please be careful." After that he left. If she ever got into trouble he wouldn't hesitate to jump in the middle even if that meant he could die. "Alright Cy, let's finish this." A new found fire was in his eyes, Uriah was ready to finish this.
Cyrus gave a curt nod.
"God, I hope we can. I don't know if I can take any more of this."
He scratched the back of his head.
"I've never relished killing before, but… I think this one might be an exception."
Luna watched as Uriah left. She took a deep breath as she tried to reign in her flaming cheeks. All of that just happened, dios it felt like a dream. She needed to be ready to follow the boys and just anything in general.
"Don't worry, if you can't I will." A bit of a deadly tone came out as he said that. It was unusual for Uriah to act this way, he was usually the funny, try to keep everyone happy guy, but being here changed him a bit. "We will get him, and I will kill him."
Cyrus laughed, "Oh, I'm plenty happy with killing him too. I have my reasons…"
He paused for a second. Did Uriah even know about his relationship to Panther?
"I'm a little scared, quite frankly. I've never felt bloodlust before like this."
"That's something I thought I'd never hear from you." Uriah chuckled just thinking about Cyrus killing anyone. "Well I've felt it many times." One being his father, then the man that killed Zhavia and now Panther, the man putting all his loved ones in this situation.
“Me neither.”
Cyrus’ voice started to get increasingly thin and fragile-sounding.
“So I don’t know if Panther mentioned this, or if you’ve caught word of it, but I’m allegedly his grandson,” Cyrus explained.
"Oh, really?" Uriah eyes got wide. It wasn't like he blamed Cy, but he was a bit surprised. "It makes sense a bit. Your parents were assassins there and you grew up there. Most kids don't just grow up in a guild ."
“They don’t steal all of their kids,” Cyrus sighed, “I’m not that much of an anomaly. How could I have even guessed it?”
"Well I don't know. I only became an assassin a year ago." Uriah was still trying to figure things out. He didn't know everything about assassins, but he was glad that he had the skills of one now. "So, do we have any plans yet, or are we going with the flow?"
“We shall see… Are either of us ready for a fight as it is?” Cyrus asked, “because we’re both in rough shape and unarmed to my knowledge.”
"I could probably fight a bit more, but I am pushing my body to it's limit. I feel I am going to have some permanent damage after this." With how he is now, Uriah shouldn't even be moving, but he had no choice at this point. "Are you going to be okay?"
Luna managed to sneak herself out of the infirmary once she had calmed down Sparrow right behind her. Her first move was to go back to where there clothes were and change back. She couldn't stand being in those nurse uniforms any longer. Once changed she pulled her hood up and began sneaking to where Uriah and Cyrus now were, only a few steps behind to stay unnoticed.
