Uriah could only make out a bit of what he was saying. "So we all have to agree who lives, wonderful." Again, even though he couldn't see well he pushed himself up and looked at everyone. Even if he was the one to live, his body was to weak, he would fail in finding Cyrus. "I'll stay." Sacrificing himself would make the choice easier at least for the others, but he rather all on them live. Sparrow was one of his bestfriends, the kids were to young to die, and Luna was the woman he loved. There was no way he could choose between them. He sat down already deciding what to do with his life.
Luna's head shot up and she glanced over at where Uriah was, "W-what? N-no! W-We can f-figure a w-way to g-get all o-of us o-out Uriah!" She knew she could escape and if she remembered Panther's words right, or at least the ones that she remembered. She could maybe trigger the noose right before cutting it to free herself then maybe both her and Uriah could escape at the very least. Sparrow and the kids were another question entirely.
"Luna, it's fine. I'd only be a burden anyway. Even if there was an antidote, I'm physically and mentally tired. I wouldn't be able to keep up." Usually Uriah would find a way out of this situation or in the least be a little positive. At this point though, with everything he had gone through he was done, and dying just seemed like the best choice. "And you guys will find a way out. I wasn't much help in the guild anyway. I'm an outsider and I always will be." Leaning his head against the wall, a weird sense of peace took over. As long as they live, I don't care.
(Wait I’m sorry, what’s Cyrus up to right now? He’s unconscious behind Panther, yes? What should I do?)
(He could wake up, and if you want you can control panther for the whole convo. If not I'll do it)
Luna growled slightly as she slowly and carefully began to lift up her right foot where the knife was hidden in the heel. She could fall off before grabbing it, "I-I will f-fall off th-this chair i-if you g-give up l-like this U-Uriah. W-we're all g-getting out o-of here. S-So what d-do we kn-know? I-If I d-die, then U-Uriah lives. I-If Sparrow d-dies, then th-the kids l-live. A-and if th-the kids d-die, then I-I live. R-Right?"
(Okay! You can control panther since you have a better idea of what’s going to happen.)
Cyrus slowly came to. There was the dark outline of a man in front of him. He at first was a little fuzzy and couldn’t make him out, but soon came to realize that is was Panther.
Cyrus took in a sharp breath. A faintly sweet smell filled his nose. They’d ended up taking him out with chloroform.
He started to push himself upright and tried to speak to yell at Panther in anger, but his voice was gone from all the screaming. Cyrus coughed quietly.
Panther heard the coughing and turned around. "Jax get some water for my grandson." He said, walking closer to Cyrus. Jax came back with a large metal tube and gave it to Cyrus. "Drink up my boy and you can tell me all about that silly little building you call a guild." He said, chuckling
Cyrus knocked the tube out of Jax's hand, taking a very violent swing in his general direction.
"Never…" he croaked, "You bastard… I'm not your-"
His voice broke off abruptly.
Sighing, panther snapped his fingers and Jax held the glass up again. "If you dint drink the water, I'm going to shove it down your throat." He growled. Panther sighed "easy Jax, when he takes over, he nay not be as compliant as I am with you."
“I fucking dare you,” Cyrus challenged, a hateful gleam in his eyes.
He coughed again and tasted the faintest metallic tang of blood from his throat being so terribly raw.
Jax gowled and pinched his nose to stop his breathing and poured the water in his mouth. someone from behind them hit a specific nerve on Cyrus and it caused him to swallow. Panther sighed and waved a hand "Leave, i need to talk to him alone."
Sparrow looked around at the others issues and frowned. "Luna, if you can slip out of the noose then use your body weight to pull it down, freeing Uriah who can go and turn off the switch for the wires. then we can save the kids and go find Cyrus." she said, voicing her thought.
nathan opened his eyes and looked around sighing, the water was up to his knees now and he still hadn't managed to free his hands from behind the chair
Cyrus laughed. He was about to lose his mind and absolutely hysterical.
“Thanks for the drink,” he murmured sarcastically, “Now what did you do to them?”
Cyrus’ hands grew shaky.
"I just have them in a short competition, for old times sake. Winner gets to rule the guild beside you." He said, quite pleased whth himself.
(Hey Illy, I was flipping thought the old pages(gods I sucked at Rp lmqo) and realized you didnt necessarily make a 'template' for Uriah. Could you just describe his personality and appearance for me? You can do it in Pms too, but itll hel me make my version of him a little more clearer)
"I-I can d-do that," Luna managed to grab her boot knife and break the bonds on her hands. She looked down to see both her hands free and quickly got the noose off her neck. She didn't hesitate as she kept a hold of the noose and dropped down pulling the rope with her. There, two people free from their situations and now it was time for her to go into a panic attack. Maldita sea! She let go of the noose and shakily slipped the knife back into her boot and just kind of half crumbled on the ground her breathing going insane. Her chest hurt as memories flashed through. Zoe's death, her six months spent here in this inferno, and everything in between. Stop! She's not going to die, no one was dying. Just get up and get going. You still have work to do!
Katya was just resigned as she sat in the chair. Drowning, she was going to drown. Unless Sparrow figured out a way to somehow shock herself and not die, she was drowning. This was fine. Perfectly fine.
“Hmph. I don’t see why you would want traitors to take control of the guild,” he said, trying to hide his fear that this competition might be to the death.
“Now if you don’t mind me, I’m going to get off this floor.”
Cyrus started trying to stand, but his bad knee gave out.
“How inconvenient,” Cyrus sighed.
"Great, now the antidote should be working on him. See if you can find a way to stop the wires. Be careful though." She faced the water tanks and squinted. "Kids, can you see if there is a sensor of sorts?"
Panther gave him a pair of polished crutches and faced the screen as one of the green lights went black. "Oh, it looks like your l-l-little s-s-t-t-ttutering friend lost."
(Luna: I can and will cut you.)
Luna took a deep breath and calmed her self down, kind of. Not really. She could move and think slightly, but she was still in a lot of pain. She started glancing around her rooms seeing if she could find any button or switch or even a panel to open.
Katya glanced up and said in a slightly deflated tone. The water was at her knees but she was more uncomfortable than anything with the chair being too small for her longer limbs, "Yeah. There's a little black hole above my head that goes across."
(Ok, thanks)(lmao we know panther is a bitch)
"Alright, I need you to put water there continuously. Like a large mouthful of water and just keep spitting" she said
The door opened behind Uriah's back and he fell. Immediately Uriah cleared his mind and ran over to the button to shut off the wires. "We need to get the kids out." No matter how much he wanted to run to Luna's side, he couldn't. Getting everyone out was first priority. (Sorry its short.)
Katya looked and started trying to kick water upwards, "I don't know how I can do that!"
(I'm going out with my parents and siblings so idk when I'll he on)
Panther gave him a pair of polished crutches and faced the screen as one of the green lights went black. "Oh, it looks like your l-l-little s-s-t-t-ttutering friend lost."
Cyrus pushed himself upright. He gritted his teeth.
“God, they got me good…”
He looked up at the screen as the last bit escaped Panther’s mouth.
“She hasn’t lost… there’s… there’s no way that would happen…” he gasped.
His body started trembling harder and he felt like he was going into a panic.
