(Yeah, the button needs to be bright red or something. I get spooked when posting things half of the time.)
(Well he's about to leave if anyone wants to stop him.)
Cyrus was still looking around. Everyone had kind of scattered and disappeared. He started walking towards the front of the building and went outside to catch some fresh air. His eyes went towards the stables, where he saw another man- Uriah.
He started running towards him. "Hey, where are you going?"
"Ah, Since I'm not really needed here I was going to go to my company early." He continued to pack his stuff on Prince while Freedom laid at his feet. "It's not like I'm an assassin like you guys, I won't be much help around here." He knew he didn't have the skills to help around here, he was better for business stuff.
"Uriah… I- uh… You were just going to leave without saying anything? At least give it a few more days so you can rest and maybe try a little more training. I dunno, man… I, for one, missed you a lot, and it's really hard to see you go again," Cyrus said, "Please stick around. Even if it's just a little longer."
"Hm," Uriah wasn't sure if it was the best idea to stay, but resting a few more days should be to bad. "Alright fine, I can say no to the handsome face of yours." He patted Cyrus's cheek and started to unpack again. He took Prince back into the stable and walked back inside with Cyrus.
Cyrus let out a sigh of relief. His points had been reasonable enough to persuade Uriah to stay, at least for now. He was only putting it off, though. He didn't want Uriah to leave, but he felt like he was being selfish about it and didn't want to try to keep him from going altogether if it was truly necessary.
"Were you even going to say goodbye?" Cyrus asked, crossing his arms, "Looked like you were trying to slip away unnoticed."
"It would have been harder to leave." Especially if he had to say goodbye to certain people, Cyrus being one of them. "It would just be easier." He continued to walk down the hall not sure of where he was going. "Anyway, how is Alex doing?" He figured Eira stayed behind to look after him if Cyrus wasn't there.
(If Uriah doesn't end up with Eira could I make a second character?)
"I think he's going to be okay," Cyrus replied, "Poor bastard passed out from the pain though. Broken ribs aren't anything to sneeze at, especially with everything else he had going on. I left a few of the people working there to keep an eye on him and give him medicine and ice as needed. I'll go back to check on him later, though."
He kind of had his head down as he walked; he was clearly stressed.
(I have to leave. I'll be back around 2 hours from now I think…)
Luna slid down from the roof and walked over to Uriah and Cyrus. She asked Cyrus, "H-how is Alex?"
"You don't need to stress out so much. I'm sure he'll be fine." Alex is a tough guy, so Uriah had no doubt he would be back to full health soon. "I'm going to go put my stuff away back in my room." He patted Cyrus's back to comfort him before he walked away. Uriah wasn't sure that he wanted to be here, and that he might have made a mistake, but he didn't want to leave Cy when he was like this, so maybe a little longer wouldn't hurt.
Cyrus smiled at Uriah. "See ya."
He turned his attention to Luna. "I wouldn't have left his side if I thought he wasn't going to make it. I think pain is the biggest issue. then of course, preventing infection, but as long as we keep a close eye on him, he should be fine. The most I had to do was stitch a couple of wounds closed."
Lina nodded and let out a little sigh of relief, "G-good. H-he looked pretty rough when I s-saw him last. I-I'm glad he's going to be okay."
"Me too… I can't even begin to express how relieved I am," Cyrus replied, "Thank god I can actually pull my sorry ass together enough in those types of crises to help other people… If I panicked like I usually do? Well, let's say some situations we've been in would've turned out much worse."
"H-hey," Luna said her eyebrows furrowing slightly together, "Y-you don't have a sorry ass. H-how could anyone have a sorry ass?"
Cyrus laughed a little. "Okay, maybe not… But in any other type of situation, I probably would've panicked. I didn't this time, and that's what matters."
"Y-yeah," Luna said softly, "Pánico no es bueno."
Cyrus struggled to understand what she said, and had to fit root words in terms of what little Italian his mother had taught him, but he finally got it and agreed with her.
He was looking a little past where Luna stood, kind of shifting his gaze off into empty space, but he calmly asked, "So how are the letters coming along?"
Luna looked down at the floor, "I-I haven't started yet. Th-the room felt suffocating, and I h-had to go outside."
