“Alright. See you soon Maria.” Andion gave the woman a small smile before heading off with Blaine.
“Alright. See you soon Maria.” Andion gave the woman a small smile before heading off with Blaine.
"I assume that our plans for tonight are canceled?" Blaine asked, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye.
“Yeah… Sorry…” Andion muttered, keeping his gaze on the ground in front of them.
"It's okay. I don't think I'm in the mood for it, anyway," Blaine admitted softly, gently rubbing his arm to comfort him.
Andion nodded and sighed before giving Kasey a thankful smile, “Come on, let’s hurry back.” He picked up the pace as they walked back to the guild.
(You mean Blaine? Lol.)
Blaine matched her pace to his, stating by his side. "If you want to be alone tonight, I completely understand."
(Yes, Yes I do mean Blaine)
“If you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to be alone, yes. Thank-you.” Andion said quietly, opening the gates to the guild.
(Lol.)
"All right," Blaine said with a nod. "I'll see you in the morning, then?"
Andion nodded, “Yeah, see you in the morning.” He placed a kiss to her head and have her a small smile.
"Okay. Good night, Andion," Blaine said softly, giving him a quick kiss on his cheek before turning to head to her room.
Andion sighed and instead of heading to bed, he headed fitness he training ring. He sighed and got to training.
Blaine sighed as she reached her room and plopped down onto her bed. She stared at the ceiling for a moment before standing again to change into pajamas, then finished getting ready to go to sleep. Once done, she crawled under her covers, immediately realizing how cold it was without Andion with her.
Surprisingly, there were a few other people in the training ring and Andion gave them a small smile as he groaned with them. After a while, they left and left Andion alone in the ring, continuing to workout and train.
He's doing something stupid, isn't he? I bet he is. It wouldn't be surprising.
Blaine sighed as she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Andion stayed out all night, training without a break. He squinted as the sun began to rise above the guild and cursed at himself for being so stupid.
Blaine rolled over in her sleep, covering her face with a pillow. Morning already? No. Just no. It was too early to wake up.
Andion eventually dragged himself to his room, collapsing onto his bed a few moments later. He couldn’t be bothered to change so he fell asleep in the same sweaty clothes.
Eventually, Blaine dragged herself out of bed and changed into a fresh set of clothes. She made her way to the dining hall for breakfast, wondering if she'd see Andion there, eating a giant plate of food. She smiled at the thought, but she didn't see him.
With a shrug, she loaded a plate up with some fruit, bread, and dried meat, then sat down at an empty table. After eating in silence, she put her plate away and made her way to the training room.
Andion barely slept even though he was exhausted. He tossed and turned and eventually stripped until he was barely wearing anything but still couldn't sleep. Sighing, he went and had a cold bath, just sitting in the tub, thinking.
Blaine stopped when she was about halfway there and changed course. Doing some archery was always when she did her best thinking, so she headed out to the range, grabbed her bow and quiver on her way. Once there, she set up her space and started.
Breathe in… Nock, aim… Breathe out… Loose the arrow. Hit, almost dead-center.
Breathe in… Nock another, aim… Breathe out… Loose the arrow. Another hit, this one a flat out bullseye.
Nock, aim, loose, hit, repeat.
She repeated this process until she reached back for another arrow and found her quiver empty. With a sigh, she shook her head and made her way to the target. After pulling all of her arrows out, she decided to move the target back farther.
When she was satisfied with the distance between the target and herself, she breathed in, nocked an arrow, aimed, breathed out, and let out.
And again the cycle repeated itself: Breathe in… Nock, aim… Breathe out… Loose the arrow.
After changing, Andion headed out to find Blaine. His hair was a wet mess atop his head and dripped a little onto his shirt but he didn't care.
When he didn't find her at the changing ring, he headed to the archery range and found her there. He walked up beside her and sighed a little.
"Morning," His voice was raspy and he only just realised.
Blaine jumped a little and dropped the arrow she'd just pulled out of her quiver. She turned to Andion, raising an eyebrow at him.
"Didn't I tell you to warn me before doing that?" she joked, giving him a half smirk.
"Sorry sorry." He said, running a hand through his wet hair slowly, "How are you?"
Really? She's your girlfriend and that's all you can say? Get yourself together.
Blaine let her smirk fall as she shrugged.
"I've been better. What about you? How are you holding up?" she asked gently.
"Not great if I'm being honest…" Andion sighed and crossed his arms over his chest.
