Andion fell backwards and groaned, standing quickly.
Andion fell backwards and groaned, standing quickly.
Blaine stood as quickly as she could before Andion could put his sword to her throat again. She braced herself for an attack from him, her gaze following him.
Andion didn't attack at first, he waited a few moments before swinging at her as hard as he could. Swiping at any place he could.
Blaine blocked him a few times, then dodged him, but he eventually managed to get a cut on her right arm. She winced and bit her lip. That cut felt pretty deep.
She swung at him again, hoping to at least catch him off guard.
Andion blocked the attack holding the sword there before kicking her in the stomach.
Blaine let out an "Oof" as she stumbled backwards. She took a couple of breaths before going back to attacking Andion.
Blaine hit Andion in the stomach and he stumbled back a few steps, he hissed and swung again.
Blaine blocked him this time and used their position of sword against sword to push him back.
If I can just get him over that stupid line this will be all over.
Andion took a step back, trying not to step over the line. He swung at her chest, trying to push her back.
Blaine stepped back. She narrowed her eyes as she thrusted her sword toward Andion again.
The sword managed to hit Andion in the stomach and he stumbled to the ground, hissing, “I give.” He ground out, even though he hated to say it.
Blaine sighed as she tossed her sword to the side in relief. She stuck her hand out to help Andion up.
"Good. I was getting sick of the back and forth of it all," she admitted bluntly.
Andion rolled his eyes and placed one hand on his wounds and the other took Blaine’s hand, lifting him off the ground.
"You're a mess," Blaine stated with a smirk. "And it seems I've managed to beat you in your element."
“Yeah, don’t let it get to your head.” Andion muttered removing his ripped shirt and using it as a bandage for his wound.
Blaine's gaze flicked over Andion for a moment before she looked away, a light pink dusting her cheeks.
Stop it. You can't– Just stop it.
With a grimace, she held a hand to her worst wound, the one on her opposite arm. It was starting to hurt like crazy, the pain becoming worse as her adrenaline died down.
“I’ll gte a bandage for that.” Andion said, looking over at where Blaine was holding her arm. He walked over to a chest with some bandages and brought them over to Blaine, carefully wrapping the wound
"You don't have to do that," Blaine muttered as she watched Andion wrap her arm. "I could have done it myself. Plus, you should get that one on your stomach checked out."
“It can wait.” Andion replied, gently finishing wrapping the wound and trying the end so it didn’t fall off.
Blaine turned to hide her blush and mumbled her thanks. After clearing her throat, and hoping that her blush had died down, she turned back to Andion.
"Your turn. Let's get you to the medic," she said, gently shoving him in that direction.
Andion tried to wince at the push, the sword must have cut deeper then he originally thought.
"Yeah, yeah." He muttered, walking as best he could without hurting himself.
"I'll come with you," Blaine offered, her voice leaving no room for argument. "We wouldn't want you collapsing on the way there."
Andion let out a strained laughed, “Yeah, ‘course we wouldn’t.”
Blaine forced a smile as she followed Andion. "So… We were stupid and didn't use the blunt swords…"
Andion chuckled, “Lesson learnt. Don’t spare with the sharp swords.”
