Blaine blinked, raising an eyebrow. “All right. Thank you, then. How has your morning been so far?”
Blaine blinked, raising an eyebrow. “All right. Thank you, then. How has your morning been so far?”
Helena shrugged, "Well, apart form being woken up by the kids early this morning it has been pretty nice. What about you? Has yours been satisfactory."
“It has been, thank you,” Blaine said, glancing over at Andion with a soft smile. She turned back to Helena and nodded. “I suppose you’ll want to be eating, won’t you? I’ll let you go to your family now.”
"Oh dear, it's no problem. Come and join us, I believe you boyfriend is already wrapped up in some… interesting conversation with my children." Helen looked over and chuckled, watching her kids and Andion have some very animated conversation.
Blaine smiled, giving the woman a polite nod. “Thank you. I would gladly,” she said as she followed her over, chuckling softly at Andion with the kids. Yes… Yes, he would definitely make a good father. Someday.
Arthur watching his kids and Andion with a small smile the grew when he spotted his wife and Blaine, “Your man is very good with kids, isn’t he?” He said, nodding from Blaine to Andion.
Blaine smiled at the man before turning back to watching the trio. “He is, yes… Honestly, I never would have thought he would have been. But I’m glad to see that he is.”
Arthur chuckled and nodded, "That's always the way."
Helena grinned, "I never thought Arthur would be good with kids… he's better then I thought…"
“And you have amazing kids, so I’m sure that helps,” Blaine said, shooting the mother a smile.
Helena snorted, "Them? They're the most childish, annoying kids you'll ever meet. But it seems your man is keeping them busy."
Blaine hummed and turned back to watching them, a smile ever-present on her lips. “Yeah, he is… Sometimes he can be like a big kid himself, honestly. But it cute sometimes.”
"Being a kid at heart helps with connecting with children. I'm sure he'll make a great father one day. That's if you're planning on having kids."
“We’ve talked about it. I want kids, and he does as well, but we need to settle down first,” Blaine explained with a shrug.
"Sensible. You don't want to have kids and trying to get a place to stay, that's too much work."
“Oh, definitely.” Blaine nodded, her gaze following Andion while a small smile continued to play on her lips. “But I do hope we can settle down soon. Not just for children.”
“Why don’t you?” Helena raised a brow, “Do you not have enough money?”
Blaine blinked and turned to the woman with a shrug. “Sort of. Our work is a little hectic at the moment, too, though. Looking for a steadier job.”
Helena hummed in understanding, “Makes sense. You’ll find something eventually.”
“I certainly hope so. I can’t wait until life has calmed down and we can just relax,” Blaine hummed, nodding.
Helena chuckled, "It's certainly not going to calm down if you have kids but I see where you're coming from, dear."
Blaine smiled over at Helena again. “Yeah, I know. It’ll calm down and then pick right back up again.”
Helena nodded and hummed her agreement. Then there was a creaking and the other man came up from bellow deck, eying the group warily.
Blaine glanced over at the man, giving him a quick once over before turning back to Andion. He wasn’t anyone she recognized, so there was hopefully no threat. I’d there was, though, she was already on her guard. She wouldn’t let anything get too far.
Andion caught the look Blaine was giving him and nodding slightly in silent understanding. Make sure he wasn’t a threat. He kept his smile up for the kids sake, not wanting to scare them at the sudden shift in mood.
Andion caught her eye, and Blaine knew he would keep the kids safe if anything happened. Good. They might have been assassins, but they were quitting that. And they didn’t kill kids, anyway. She would flat out refuse.
