Astra rolled her eyes. "nOtHiNg ImPoRtAnT," she mocked, slightly annoyed. "Answer my question, please."
Her annoying, mean side was starting to show more and more. But, that's only because she was beginning to trust Winter a little bit.
"People I met once." He shrugged. I don't have to answer your questions, Astra. You aren't entitled to my thoughts.
See? That wasn't so hard. "Thank you." She smiled again and tried to stick close to him.
He nodded. "Mm." He walked over to the next tank.
Jesus. Aquariums are boring. She sighed and followed Winter, despite her urge to just run out of the place and go home. "Have you been here before?"
He shook his head. "Ooh, a shark." He said childishly, leaning against the glass and peering into the tank.
Astra smiled. He's so simple. An open book. I guess there's nothing wrong with that.
Winter was quiet, not looking at her as he peered into the tank. I haven't seen this type before.
She yawned, making an annoying squeaky noise when she finished. "You like sharks?"
He shrugged. "I guess so." He replied, still looking into the tank.
Jeez, did I even sleep last night? She yawned again and leaned against his shoulder, hoping he wouldn't mind.
He glanced at her, then looked back at the tank.
Oh my GOD. Does he not care?! She smiled to herself. Guess the presence of sharks changes him. She closed her eyes and waited for him to finish.
Winter waited a few moments, then shook her slightly as the shark paused right near them. "Astra! Wake up!" He said, smirking.
(And just like that, I fell in love with Winter.)
Astra's eyes opened slightly, only to see the shark right in front of them. Her eyes widened as she lost her balance "GAH-!" She fell backwards and hit the floor hard. She sat up and rubbed her lower back. "What the hell, Winter?!"
(lol same tho)
Winter smirked again, waving at the shark, then extending his hand to her to help her up. "What did you expect when you fell asleep in front of the shark tank?"
She frowned at his hand, but took it anyway. Astra huffed at his question. "Well excuse me for thinking that you would politely wake me up," she crossed her arms and added, "like a sane person!"
He gave her another smirking grin. "Where's the fun in that?" He replied, turning back to the tank. "Also, who ever said I was sane?"
She gritted her teeth, annoyed by his rather charming smirk. "You-" Do you have some sort of split personality disorder?! She looked up at him, utterly confused by his behavior. She tried to form a sentence to try and win the argument, but failed, and ended up sounding like a person who kept getting interrupted instead.
He looked at her. "Hey, I'm just fulfilling my pinky promise, okay? Want me to go back to normal?" He raised an eyebrow. "Because I can, if that's what you would prefer."
Exasperated, she threw her hands up in the air. "I can't tell if you're worse when you're like this or when you're rigid and cold!" Astra sighed. "Keep your promise. Or else."
(the truth is I forgot his personality wasn't like that for like five posts and then I remembered the pinky promise and used it as a excuse lol)
Winter nodded. "I will." He replied, pale hair tumbling into his face.
(mood lmao. i honestly forgot all about the pinky promise too but uh-)
She puffed some air into one cheek, making it look like she was a pouting child. Now, for my revenge! She quickly turned on one heel and ran into a crowd of tall people (though literally everyone is taller than her, so-). "Good luck finding me!" She called out to him, giggling.
(lol)
Winter sighed, and followed after her. "Astra, really?" He said, looking around.
Astra easily maneuvered through the crowd, despite getting elbowed almost every 10 seconds. I hope he doesn't enjoy looking for me! Then he'll know what a pain it was to find him.
