Maddie was shocked. Lenore liked Léonie. Maybe it was for the best that she didn’t like her. Maddie still stayed in hiding.

Léonie squinted at Lenore. This had to joke. Lenore liked her? But she looked at Lenore and saw the fragile hope in her eyes, and understood this was no joke. She sighed, running her hands through her hair. She tried to let her down easily.
"Um, this isn't going to happen. I don't like you, I would never like you. I mean, I can't like you, since I'm not like you. Anyway, the short version is no. Sorry" she assured her.

I stood there shocked not sure how to respond.
she had just told me should would never like me..
I felt nauseous.
I ran away from her while tears ran down my cheeks.
I had been so navie a-and stupid!
of course she hadn't liked me.
why had I ever thought she liked me!

Léonie stood awkwardly as Lenore turned and ran. She sighed, and walked after her.
"Lenore, wait." she called out to the trees.

after I had finished running from Léonie.
I sat down on a bench my face in my hands
sobbing tears running down my cheeks.

how could I be so navie?
when I thought about what Léonie had said.
I felt nauseous and upset.
Léonie had broken my heart.
I started sobbing
why did people w-want love!?
it was horrible.
I wish no one els would ever have to feel the heartbreak of love!
I screamed.
noticing my hands were starting to glow.

amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) just caught up to everyone else. What was going on? Lenore was running, Léonie was reluctantly chasing after her, Luna was off somewhere with wolves and Maddie looked as angry as a charging bull! All she wanted to do was greet the new kids!

Léonie finally stopped when she saw Lenore sitting on a tree trunk. Just as she was about to say something, Lenore screamed and her hands started to glow. Léonie covered her mouth to smother her gasp.
