Okie dokie! I think that’s enough of us to get started- if you all are good with that??

Alrighty! I’ll write up an opening scene then- we’re still going with the attack on the castle prompt I believe-

Lydian quickly stalked through the castle, trying to get back to her room as fast as possible. An attack had just been issued on the castle, and if anyone knew part of it had to deal with her actions… she’d be done. Her secret of being the Kings assassin would be out. She stuck to the shadows as others rushed past to help the wounded and clean up. She noticed then that blood stained the bottom of her skirts, so she picked up her pace, hoping no one would bother her.

Liam ran through the dark halls of the castle, his shirt flapping in the wind. He grabbed his armour and sword before rushing back out on the midst of a mini battle. He saw a lady and her family being forced back by a few enemy soldiers on his left and went to go help them but just as he took a step, he saw another enemy creeping up behind a soldier. Torn between the two scenarios, he rushed towards his friend and knocked the sword out of the enemies hand, alerting his friend to watch his back. He then ran I'm the opposite direction to save the small family from the clutches of the enemy

She continued to make her way through the halls, then heard the screaming of some of the victims. She paused, turning toward the direction of the battle. She couldn’t just leave them to fend for themselves, ecspecially after her role in this mess. Seeing a servant run by, she shouted at them, “You! Give me your cloak! Please..” The servant paused nervously, then handed over their cloak, bowed slightly, then rushed away. Lydian yanked the cloak over her, hiding her face, then rushed back to the battlefield of a sort, pulling her dagger out of her boot.

Liam rushed towards the soldiers just as they raised their swords over their heads. He lifted his sword and it clanged against theirs. He stood protectively infront of them "thank you Lord Alexander!" They cried. Liam nodded his head "get to a safe place." He said simply and faced the intruders. "You come onto our kingdom and attack our innocent people without warning?" He growled out, walking closer and closer to the soldiers

(Hey Lyra, wanna ship Liam and Lydian? It's ok if you don't want to, I think it would be an interesting relationship lol)

Jack stood in front of one of the horses in its stall as it reared and neyed in panic. "Woah boy!" Jack said to the horse, gently holding the horses snout as his front legs came back to the ground. This was one of the newer horses in training who was paniced due to the ongoing fight. Most of the horses were gone from the stables in use by soilders fighting in the battle that took place so Jack cared for the remaining horses. He stroked the snout of the panicked horse until eventually he calmed down.

Lydian raced onto the battlefield, and charged at the enemy soldiers. She ended up alongside a soldier from the castle, who was wielding a sword and holding his own against the enemy. Raising her dagger, she struck out at the enemy, determined to send them crawling back to the hell they cane from. An almost bloodthirsty smirk came from the shadow that was her face, and she let herself loose on them.

((Oml- Yes Fam!!! Let’s totally ship them!! I agree- it would be a really interesting pairing! We should do it ^^))

Liam watched as the stranger in a good attacked the solider "youd better attack someone else instead of trying to destroy this man!" He yelled In their direction before whipping around to block an attack from behind

Lydian was ready to shout at the person, but held her tongue, knowing he was right. She kicked her opponent, and when he fell to the ground, she moved to the next target. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw as a soldier was getting ready to bring their sword down on the other fighter, the one that had yelled at her. She quickly cleared the distance, and caught the sword with her dagger, putting all her force into it. She could feel her hood starting to slip down, but at this point, she couldn’t do anything to fix it. She gritted her teeth, shoved the sword away, then quickly whirled back around, jabbing at the enemy.

Ren paced back and forth in his room, biting his lip and brows furrowed in thought. His father had commanded him to stay put while the battle ensued in fear of him being hurt. Yes, he didn’t know how to fight like the king, but he new how to weild a dagger but no, him being the stupid prince meant he had to be locked away on a damned tower, one thing he hated yet his father was insistent on. He looked down at the battle bellow and some part of him wished he wasn’t so damned useless so he could help.

Jack stood stroking the horse, hearing the awful sounds of shouts, cries, metal on metal and body against body from the battle that was taking place. He hoped none of the enemies would pay mind to the stable. I'm not a very strong fighter, esspecially not hand to hand. he thought looking towards the closed stable doors.

Liam look at the hooded figure in shock. The hood had slipped slightly showing their face "you - you're a lady! Where di you learn to fight?" He asked blocking another sword before stabbing its wilder with his dagger

Mara found herself on the outskirts of the battle, near the doors to the castle. She figured this was as good a place as any to defend the castle. She parried an attack from one fighter, and then kicked his legs out from under him.
(Is that okay? So sorry i’m So late!)

Lydian turned, landing another blow, before answering the question. “That I am, a lady, and, well, Iearned to fight from my parents.. My father had me taught.” It was a good enough answer, and she wasn’t lying either. She blocked a sword coming at her side, and got a good enough kick into their stomach that they recoiled, giving her enough time to advance.

"Your technique is quite different from what I've seen others do." He said dodging a punch to the face by ducking then kicking up, allowing his foot say hello to the other man's chin

Her mouth quirked slightly upward in the most of a smile she would give. “Well, it’s more or less a hybrid of several styles and techniques I’ve seen and learned about over the years. I go for what’s most efficient and effective.” She continued to block the advaces of the enemy, gaining more ground on her side.
