“Okay.” Jason got ready to put the slide-y things under the piano when Nate lifted it. “I’m ready when you are.”
“Okay.” Jason got ready to put the slide-y things under the piano when Nate lifted it. “I’m ready when you are.”
"Alright, one…two…three." Nate counted down before lifting to prepare both himself and Jason.
Jason pushes the wheels underneath. He positioned them so they would be in the center and move nicely. “Done.”
Nate lowed the piano back down once Jason had finished. "There, now it'll move nicely." He nodded with a smile.
"Thanks for your help. Its really appreciated." Cute and helpful?! That's a whole package right there. I'm just missing the gay part…
"Of course! Now I can listen to you play sometime, so really it was all for my benefit." Nate joked with Jason. Why does he have to be soo sweet! It's not fair! But there's absolutely no way he's gay…
Jason snapped laughing. “Ah. I knew you had some gain in this.” Jason started pushing the piano toward the door.
Nate helped Jason push the piano back into the band room. "Oh yeah, that's how excited I am to hear your music." He grinned at Jason as he continued to push the piano.
“I have to warn you, I’m not that good.” Jason pusehed the piano back into the band room, stopping once it was in there.
"Well if the band director had to literally track you down to convince you to play in the band, I would assume that you're pretty good if not absolutely amazing." Nate commented after the piano was back in its rightful place in the band room.
Jason looked around the room and noticed that class hasn’t really started yet. Everyone was setting up their instruments as they talked to their friends about their summer. Jason took a seat on the piano bench. “Do you have any song requests?”
"Not really…just play whatever you want to." Nate grinned at Jason over the piano as he rested his arms on piano.
Jason sat for a minute, being really indecisive. He looked up at Nate when he got and idea. “Say a random word and I’ll relate it to a song.”
"Okay… what about forget?" Nate suggested, saying the first word that came to mind.
Jason thought for a minute before a song came to his head. He started playing the piano. “This song comes from my home country. The singer is very popular there, not so much here.” (https://youtu.be/y_gfXEXCvVs idk if you want to know the song or not…)
(I'll watch it when I get home because I'm in class right now…XD)
Nate watched Jason play, listening to the music and trying to find the meaning behind it.
(Tbh I didn’t listen to that cover yet because I’m also in class. It’s the song but I hope the piano ver is good…)
Jason finished playing the song, turning around to face Nate. “I bet you’re wondering the meaning of the song, since it sounds sadish.”
"Yeah it does sound kinda sad. What's it about?" Nate asked.
“Basically it’s a song sung to someone as they are leaving. Don’t forget Don’t lose. Even if you are holding other’s hand. If you are at somewhere I cannot go. Don’t forget Don’t lose.” Jason sung part of the chorus. “A song about betrayal.”
"That sounds really depression but very relatable." Nate commented, thinking about the song's chorus.
Jason nodded. “Yea. It was the first so that came to mind because it called Don’t Forget.”
"Oh okay, that makes sense why you chose it now." Nate nodded, continuing to think about the song's meaning.
“Yeah. But to be honest most songs when they are played on the piano sound sad. Some may not but it’s just a general thing.” Jason shrugged.
"That's true. Except for the Spinning Song. That one always sounds super happy." Nate agreed.
Jason nodded as he laughed. “True. True. That one is always super happy sounding.”
