“I guess…” Mara said hesitantly.
“I guess…” Mara said hesitantly.
"I thought most kids like, watched T.V., or did… something outside, I dunno. Angels are a lot different than people…"
“Yeah,” Mara half-snorted. “Tell me about it.”
"So… um. Maybe there's a dog park or something? Dogs are cool.."
“Yeah. Though they’ve never liked me… Do you know of any good ones?”
Nathaniel shook his head. "No, like I said, I've never been here before. I'm sure there's one somewhere, though…"
“Oh, look! There’s a ‘directory’ over there.” Mara led Nathaniel over to the sign. “Apparently there’s one two blocks from here.”
"Okay. It should be…" He examined the map for a second. "..about due south."
“Okay. You want to lead?” Mara smiled shyly. “You’re better at directions than I am.”
(Gtg to bed now. Byeeeeee)
//aww byyeee me too
"You must be pretty bad a directions for me to be better." He laughed, but started to lead the way anyways.
Mara followed.
"I…. think we're here?" Nathaniel glanced around. "I mean, I see dogs, but that's probably not uncommon."
“Good point,” Mara said, swiveling. “But I think so? I mean, there is a sign right there that says ‘7th St. Dog Park.’”
"Oh! That means we made it, right?" He looked into the park.
“I… guess so?” The park looked pretty deserted, save the one dog tied to the fence by his leash and the demon sitting curled up under a large tree.
//if its alright @Opia i wad thinking rose could come in right here and Mara could be like, ‘hello there’ to celebrate may the fourth
Nathaniel immediately went over to the dog tied up. "Where's your owner?" He looked around and didn't see anyone. The dog seemed to be abandoned. He let the dog sniff his hand before petting it.
