Dawn walked into school her cousin's giving her a ride she's very close to her cousins and her sister she walked in the school her books held tightly against her chest as she walks the Halls occasionally looking at the boys she saw in the hallway
Jasper leaned against his locker, talking to one of his friends from theater. They were discussing a new movie adaption of one of their collective favourite musicals. The word discussion in this case means frantic fangirling and a lot of quiet screaming and bouncing; the movie had been fantastic, and spot-on.
Isaac stood at his locker a few doors down, pulling out some books for his first period class. He glanced over at Jasper and his friend, raising his eyebrows curiously. He’d seen them around before but didn’t talk to them. Once he’d taken his books out, he stuffed his backpack in the empty space and closed the door. Today was a strange day, he remembered. Wasn’t this the first day some girls were attending the school?
(Oh, so my reply didn’t go through.)
Hailey yawned as she skipped through the school corridor. Honestly, she was happy she attended this school, but at the same time she wasn’t so happy. There wasn’t anyone to talk too, expect her sister and her cousin. She sighed as she reached her locker, unlocked it and pulled out some books.
Dawn saw her sister putting her books in her locker and walked over to her "have you talked to anyone" she asked " like a casual conversation" she asked agsin Donald's nervous you could tell by the way she nibbled on her bottom lip
Carmen was for once excited to go to school. Sure there were times before when she got up early for school at her old one but today was different. She was starting a new school which meant new friends! She will miss her old ones but they all agreed to meet every Saturday at their local cafe. Carmen was one of the first of her family to arrive at school. Which meant she was to spend some time exploring, finding her way to her class, and finding her locker. Unfortunately no new friends were made in that first hour but the excitable girl was able to leave a good first impression on her teachers. Currently she was arranging her locker when her sister, Dawn, walked up to her. “Good morning!” She greeted before her sister asked if Carmen talked to anybody. She nods her head with a smile. “Yep. I have talked to a couple of people to find out where our classes are located but got no names. Why? Are you nervous?” Her faces gained a look of concern as she spots her sister’s nervous habit.
"you know I am I can't help it this is like our fifth time moving and I'm nervous every time why can't Mom and Dad just keep us in one place is it that hard"Don asked she knew it wasn't her parents fault she was just so tired of moving from place to place losing all her friends making new ones then losing them
Carmen nodded sympathetically. She understood what her sister ment. Besides her friends of her old school, there were so many people she had leave behind. Sure they text everyday but it isn't the same and some also just dropped off the face of the earth. It was sad because she cared for all of them so much and yet all this moving put strain on her relationships. Carmen gives her sister a small smile before saying, "I understand what you mean. I truly did believe the last move was the last time but I guess not. I just hope they keep their promise this time or I will start thinking they don't actually know what they are doing. Surely its not too hard to keep a job in one place." She takes a deep breath so she doesn't fall into a rant. She knows her parents mean well, or at least that's what she has to think so she doesn't snap, and this isn't entirely their fault. But each time they move it doesn't get any easier.
"it's just hard to know as soon as we finally fit in and we have relationships we're jerked away"John said with a sigh
Carmen stays silent for a moment after her sister's statement. EVen with all the new experiences she has in the new places, she finds herself missing the stability of knowing this was her permanent home. It was a thought she shares with her sister and yet their parents don't seem to understand. The silence lingers for a few more moments before Carmen spoke. "I agree. All those friendships being broken as it can't handle the strain of distance. I just hope we find somewhere to settle and soon. I don't know if can leave more friends behind."
"Honestly are Mom and Dad trying to kill us I know he Moves for work but gosh" she sighed placing her head on the cold metal of the locker "I Just want to finish highschool in one place" she glanced at her sister" Is that too much to ask?"
