As Alexander did as the Hare instructed, he felt like he was made out of goo or something. He opened his eyes, blinking, to see most of the others towering over him, except for Locke. Alexander laughed. “You’re a caterpillar! Wow!”
”And you're an adorable little white bunny, Alexander!” Maddie squealed happily, just barely holding herself back from scooping him into her arms and snuggling him like a plushie.
After a while of procrastinating, Chess had done the same. Soon he turned into a cat. Which he wasn't surprised by. He was supposed to be the cheshire cat.
(Do they look like the cartoon characters? Or more realistic?)
(i was picturing them a bit more realistic but whatever works)
“This feels really weird,” Alexander said, twitching his little pink nose.
“You’ll get used to it,” the March Hare responded absently. “The three of you will have to learn to operate like this as well as going between forms.”
The tip of His tail flickered up and down as he sat in his chair. "Wait….this mean i can eat a small amount of something but actually it'll be a lot. Since I'm smaller. More booze" he smiled mischievously at the thought.
”Bad kitty! No!” Maddie scolded seriously, though there was a bit of a smirk on her face as she said that. ”We can test that on normal food. Might help depending on how long we’re here.”
Alexander sighed. “What is it with you and booze?” he asked, looking as annoyed as a fluffy white bunny could look.
"It's good" he licked his lips, showing his sharp canines. He turned to Maddie "you know it" he says to the "bad kitty" comment.
Maddie rolled her eyes at the, no doubt, flirtation behind Chess’s response as she leaned back into her seat. ”Figures that the cat would start trouble. And no, it doesn't. It's atrocious and it makes people sick. And not in the good way.” she argued ending with a grumble and slight frown.
"You do you boo" he shrugged as much as a cat could. He hopped down on the ground and slinked over to Locke, poking his tiny body with his paw with an amusing purr.
Locke glared up at the cat. "Well I actually like this form. I may stick with it more often." He said to Chess. He tumbled over when Chess walked over and batted him though. "Hey!" He said as he tried to regain his position from before.
He chuckled a little when the caterpillar fell. "Hah, and what're you gonna do protect yourself? Crawl on their face?" He joked
Maddie rolled her eyes again and gave a mischievous smirk. ”You shouldn't judge until you learn how to disappear.” she taunted as she grabbed the scruff of Chess’s furry neck and lifted him off the ground. ”You alright there, Blue?”
Locke glared up at Chess before changing back into his human form. He flicked Chess´s nose. "I'm fine Mad." He said as he straightened himself out. "Shifting was honestly a lot easier than I expected."
He hung from Maddies grip by the scruff of his neck. He didn't even fight her. He just looked up at her, flicking his tail back and forth.
"I can disappear fine thank you. I just don't feel like showing you guys." He says in his cocky tone "i don't want to show you how much better i am than you and make you feel bad"
“Sure ya do, Kitty,” Alexander responded sarcastically. “I think someone doesn’t know how to disappear.”
”Well, you are the genius, Blue.” Maddie reminded him… almost flirting but not quite. She laughed with Chess at his attitude despite his position. ”Don't worry about me in that regard. All I get are headaches that tell me one thing or another.” she smiled, a faint trace of bitterness or sorrow in her eyes. ”You won't make me feel different if you show off.” she told him, though she did agree with Alexander.
"Nah" he says looking up at her then looking away. "And anyway! Put me down! Even though I'm a cat….woah…i am a cat" he says getting distracted. As he easily did a lot.
”No need to get embarrassed about it.” Maddie chuckled a bit madly and set Chess on her lap, starting to pet him. ”Is this better?”
He started to protest but that actually felt really nice.
He sat down on her lap as she pet him. "Mhm" he purred "much better"
(I mean, I'm just waiting for someone to reply…)
(same here. I don't want to turn this group rp into a OxO)
Alexander twitched his nose before deciding he’d rather be in human form again. So he concentrated for a moment and shifted back. “Oh, that wasn’t so bad.”
