“Now that that is out of the way, anything else you need help with?” the March Hare asked, seeming almost bored now. Alexander supposed he was running low on tact from having to interact with confused high-schoolers for more than ten minutes, since his character wasn’t exactly the most polite in the books.

”I think just the weapons and whatever else the Dormouse was going to show us. Go back to your tea, Marchie, and thank you again for everything.” Maddie gave the Hare a sincere version of her mad smile with the same flourishing bow she had given Anne before they came to Wonderland.

Locke straightened his coat. "Thank you for assisting us," He said with a smile. "And showing how to shift. Is there any way we can repay you before we leave?"

“Don’t get killed,” the Hare said bluntly, sipping his tea. “Good luck to all. Hatter, you’re always welcome here.”

Alexander almost snorted. Now he seemed more like the book version.

Maddie gave a brief cackle at the Hare’s bluntness as she replaced her hat. ”I didn't see this but I have a feeling you'll be seeing us around again, my friend.”

"I do hope we meet again," Locke said with a smile. "I did enjoy this very much. Now shall we be on our way."

“Goodbye,” Alexander added. “I hope we see each other again.”

“Yes, yes, you all enjoy my company,” the March Hare said, smiling. “It’s time to get a move on though. As much as I enjoy talking with you all, there’s a world to save.”
