Welcome to Asheville Boarding School

Asheville has been taking in misfits and juvenile criminals for years, giving them somewhere to go. Most of these kids have had addictions, gotten into fights, stolen things, or even worse. Asheville has decided to create a lacrosse team for their students so they have a way to channel their stress and supposed “anger.” When they’re signed up into one of the top leagues in the country, they become immediate laughing stocks. This is the story of a band of misfits attempting to survive boarding school and win a lacrosse championship. (Based off of the plot ideas of Foxhole Court)

Personality: Jordan is rebellious and wild. She does what she wants, when she wants, with whom she wants. She doesn't take orders from anyone. She has a habit of getting herself in trouble, with the legal authorities mostly.
Clothing: She normally wears ripped jeans, cute shirts, and a leather jacket. Or she's wearing butty shorts, tight shirts, and heels.
Backstory: Jordan grew up on the south side of town with her brother and parents. Her father was a drunk and abusive to her and her mother. One day, her twin managed to scare her father away. She got mixed up with the wrong people and dragged her brother into it. And now here she is.
Quirks: snorts when laughs, always wears red lipstick

Personality: Ryder is the opposite of his twin. He's quiet and observant. He knows how to stay out of trouble and stay hidden. He doesn't speak often but when he does, he's either scolding Jordan or he's snarky and sarcastic.
Clothing: He wears jeans, a white shirt, and a leather jacket. Sometimes he wear's band t-shirts or shirts he knows will offend other people.
Backstory: Ryder grew up on the south side of town with his sister and parents. His father was a drunk and abusive to his sister and mother. One day, Ryder had enough and beat his father, managing to scare his father away. His sister dragged him in and he got involved with the wrong sort of people. And now here she is.
Quirks: He smokes when he's stressed, upset, annoyed, so basically all the time

Sexuality: Bisexual (Leans towards boys)
Appearance: Messy, darker brown hair. Tanned, leaner with smaller shoulders. 5’10. Mismatched eyes; one is amber and the other is faded green. Freckles on the bridge of his nose and on his shoulders. Scar on his bottom lip from a fight. Tattoo on his left arm with his sister’s birth date.

Personality: At first he doesn’t open up easily and has a hard time starting conversations. Troublemaker, mischievous, likes to cause problems. Loves to laugh. Does not trust easily at all. Flirts but doesn't know what to do when people flirt back. Can get pretty flustered.

Clothing: Usually darker shirts and loose sweatpants with his beat up converse.

Reason for why they are here: Multiple fist fights, setting his last school on fire, but mostly what his parents had done in the past. Also punched multiple kids for calling his sister a “Disease” because she used to have cancer.

Backstory: His dad had been a murderer, but was eventually jailed. Cal and his sister needed to live in foster care for years, and they started to get into more and more trouble as they got older, eventually landing themselves into Asheville. He has a lot of scars from when he tried to keep his dad from hurting Alaska.

Quirks: He loves birthday cards and likes making finger guns.
Other: Smokes. (Even though his sister tries to make him stop)

Appearance: Straight, darker brown hair that is cut above her shoulders. Tanned skin with freckles on her nose and a few on her arms. Hazel eyes that are greener. 5’7. Below her left knee is a prosthetic.

Personality: At first she doesn’t open up and is very protective of her brother, but she loves to cause chaos and prank people. Will stand up for anything she believes in. Loves to make jokes and laugh. Can lose her patience quickly.

Clothing: Casual clothing like simple band shirts with leggings and converse.
Reason for why they are here: Multiple fist fights, flooding their school and stabbing a kid in the shoulder for trying to hurt her brother. Mostly because of what her parents did.
Backstory: (Same as Cal) Though, she had been diagnosed with osteosarcoma when she was 11 years old, which caused her to lose what was below her left knee.

Personality: outgoing, stubborn and very arrogant.

Backstory: His parents left him when he was small, so he learned to care for himself. He is a kleptomaniac, and was found by the authorities, trying to steal tech from a hardware store. Thats how he ended up here
Quirks: Crakcs knuckles when nervous, puts hands through hair a lot

Backstory: When she was 8, her father shot her mother and then shot himself. Melanie was lucky to have her older brother who was 19 at the time to look after her, otherwise she would have gone into foster care. Unfortunately, he turned to drugs when their father went estranged, and was killed by a drug dealer when she was 13. She's still living in their old home as the mortgage had been paid already and is constantly finding stashes of money all over the place. She occasionally steals and has been buying smokes since she was 14, saying that they were for her brother.
Quirks: She pretends that her dreads are mustaches and is always fidgeting with them in some way
