Sam nodded. "Yes, it's about time we pay Molhaven a visit. Though don't say I didn't warn you about its state of disrepair when we get there."
Sam nodded. "Yes, it's about time we pay Molhaven a visit. Though don't say I didn't warn you about its state of disrepair when we get there."
Orion gives a confident grin, and asks teasingly. "Have you already forgotten what kind of Guardian I am? Normality is for the normal, and I am anything but! That is extended to my family too." Self assured, he smiles at them all, being chipper as only Orion can.
Sam rolled his eyes. He said something to the guards and they stood to attention, forming a small circle around the group. Lillith grinned, eager to go home. “Please keep all limbs and souls inside the circle of guards, unless you want to loose them!” she said giddily
Nodding, Lata attempted to back a bit further into the middle, not wanting to lose her soul.
Lucy slung her satchel over her shoulder as she stood with the others. This was completely insane to her. If the world was as bad as everyone kept saying, what was the point of going back?
//hey no notifs idk why
Orion laughs, and makes sure that everyone is inside the circle. A warning is issued to Cassiel as one of his wingtips is in danger of being severed.
(No idea either :T)
Cas tucked himself into the circle, and as he does runes begin to light up on the floor. They circle, around the group and then around the four guards outside of it. They glow an orange-red and Sam grins. "Molhaven, here we come," he said before they were thrown into a pale, foggy forest
Lata looked around the area. She was really unsure as for what to expect. So this was Molhaven…
She fiddled around with her crystal again, unsure if this was a safe idea. Most likely it wasn't. It was Sam's idea after all and he wasn't his usual self at the moment.
(Shin I have a plan for when Sam turns back to normal ahahaha)
(oh boi)
Sam sat up, brushing himself off as he stood. He frowned, turning to Lillith. "I said Molhaven. Not the Court of the Underworld." She huffed.
"This is the only safe gate left. Half of the ones in the city have been destroyed, and the other half are under Inspa's control." Sam scowled, folding his arms.
"Oh that's just lovely," he said, looking around. Through the fog there seemed to be a tall building hidden partially by a break in the tunneling trees. "Well it looks like we're paying Arik and Damascus a visit."
(It's just her being exaggerative lol)
So this wasn't it then…? If the 'gateways' to Molhaven were either demolished or guarded then this really was a bad idea. She was quite at a loss with what to do with herself.
"And who might they be?" She asked hesitantly, not really sure she wanted an answer.
Lucy glanced around once they had arrived at the Gateway. If they had been in any other situation, she would have almost perceived this place as something such as peaceful. But she didn’t know the realm. It could be a living hell.
Sam smiled. "Old frenemies of mine. Arik is the current stand in for the god of death, and Damascus is the god of dimensions. Both high up on Inspa's wanted list, but they've only recently decided to participate in the war," he said, beginning to walk in the direction of the building in the distance
Not wanting to get left behind, Lata began walking. A few months ago if someone told her that she would be welcomed into a family, fight a monster for a soul key, and then transported into some dimension of gods, she would have laughed, thinking the person were drunk.
"They're not that bad of people, especially considering most of the gods in this dimension," he said before stopping abruptly. The guards moved into a fighting stance, forming a small circle around the group. Something moved in the pale grey-green bushes next to them, and Sam's eyes narrowed. "Stay behind the guards," he muttered quietly, and Lillith reached for a knife strapped underneath her dress
Lata bit her lip, preparing for anything. Then again, how could she prepare really? Everything here was probably stronger than what any mortal could fight.
The bushes rustled again, and something sleek and metallic slipped from behind them. It was an odd machine, with one large lens for a face and serrated teeth-like protrusions on its lower 'jaw.' It was thin and seemed sort of like a wingless dragon. More machines with a similar design began to slip from the brush before a strange-looking man in a bird mask and holding a scythe appeared from the cover of the fog. Sam squinted at him, smiling. "Advocate, how nice to see you," he drawled, folding his arms
Lucy tensed at the movement, staying close to Lata to protect the girl if needed. Her jaw clenched tightly as she watched the bushes warily.
(gtg take my english final ugh
be back in like 2 hours hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
The man took a step towards them, the machines beginning to circle the group slowly. "Samandriel?" he asked, leaning forward a little as if he was trying to see them better. "Why do you look so…" he trailed off, gesturing at Sam for lack of words. Cas looked over at him, peering out from behind Sam. The man seemed to light up at the sight of him. "And Cassiel! What are you doing here?"
(Yeah, I have to go take a chemistry exam, and idk if I’ll be around until later tonight, have a party to go to after school Oof)
(oof ok, have fun)
