(OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)
(OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)
(Orion will be pissed if they hurt his forest)
(which is why Cas stopped them. so now Lillith is just angrily raiding the fridge lol)
Lata wanted to rip out the page and into a million pieces, then give it to Sam to burn to ashes. But this was Lucy's. She couldn't do that.
(That's a mood)
(Dark magic for the wi-wait no, not the win)
(QwQ)
(AH I mean her mother was burned at the stake but Her father was inexistant so we could say that he did that? Cause he left Lucy’s mother while she was pregnant, but he was also a witch so maybe?)
(oh no, poor Lucy)
“Orion, what are you talking about?” Lucy said quickly, nervousness bubbling up in her chest.
“Give me the book,” she finished with, reaching to take it from Orion.
(If her parents did something like that, she honestly would have never known. Her mom never exposed her to dark magic, just natural healing)
Orion nods, closing the book and passing it back over. "I do not blame you for what was done to me. I want you to know that."
Lata was still hugging Orion. She remembered the purple crystal that Lucy had given her and vowed she would strengthen her magic. She wanted to be able to protect both herself and her family.
“What are you trying to say? Are you accusing my family of causing this?” Lucy asked, grabbing the book and holding it against her chest in a tight grip. Her family would have never hurt anyone. They were good witches.
Orion lowers his head. "Their signatures are in the back of the book. On every page they oversaw experimentation. I am sorry, but I will not lie to a member of my families face."
Lucy’s jaw clenched as her nails dug into the leather cover. She looked down, a heavy, distraught frown on her face. Her parents hurt people like Orion? She didn’t know her father, so she couldn’t understand what he was like. But her mother.. She would have never. She was a sweet woman, a loving woman. She loved everyone, she would have never… She opted with saying nothing. Now this really was one of her worst days.
Orion's purr is jerky, as if he is only doing it to stop himself from crying.
(my dumb sleep deprived brain read 'Orion's purr is jerky' as 'Orion purrs like jerky' and I was very confused for like two whole minutes bc I'm dumb)
(Lmao rip)
Lucy sighed sharply, rubbing a hand over her face as she did so. She set the book down on the table, reaching out and wrapping her arms around Orion in a tight embrace. “I’m so sorry,” she murmured softly, taking a shuddering breath.
(How would jerky purr? Dry? Moist? Hearty? Protein? Teriyaki?)
(I can’t laugh because I’m in an exam but I finished early and I’m trying so hard)
Orion smiles again, reaching out to hug her. "It isn't your fault. I know that you didn't know. It's okay."
(welcome to me being stupid lmao)
Sam got up from his chair, wrapping them all up in a hug. He stayed silent, not quite knowing what to say or do to help the situation
(i'M WHEEZING AHA)
Orion calls out "Hey death child, feather snake, come join in this group hug." The tone leaves no room for arguments.
