Cas sighed. "You know, it gets so tiring to listen to people tell you your creator is dead. He's not, he isn't. Otherwise I would have been made the new guardian as soon as it happened. But Inspa tells me the curses were for my own good, that Balthazar's power has gone to a better cause." He scowled, frowning down at his hands. "I say bullshit. He's out there. She doesn't have his power. And I'll find him one day. And we'll fix the mess she made."
(just catching up and dangggggggg)
(So you all are partially several ethnicities and I'm here in the corner like: I think I'm full hispanic? Idk, what am I?)
(well idk lol. I just know that I'm mostly Irish and German with a bit of Russian thrown in. also Scandinavian and native American in there somewhere)
(My history teacher did a thing in class like: raise your hand if you're part this ethnicity.
I was just there unsure of everything XD)
(I used to get asked if I was Mexican so often it's not even funny lol
i would just say no and walk away.
Now when I say where I'm from people go: Huh? Where's that?
Me: DID Y'ALL NOT PAY ATTENTION IN GEOGRAPHY IN 7TH GRADE? IT'S IN EFFING CENTRAL AMERICA)
(ugh. I mean I'm bad at geography but I'm not stupid enough to say that all Hispanic people are from Mexico or something lol)
//oof I’m just fully Chinese lmao
(wait hold on it's SomeSortOfWriter)
(It's almost midnight wooooo)
(Ugh the thing about “if you’re Hispanic then you’re Mexican” is sooo annoying)
Lucy nodded slowly in understanding as she listened to Cas. “He’s out there somewhere. Besides, now you have us four to help you look for him,” she said with a light smile.
Cas smiled a little. "I'd love for you all to meet him some day. If not now, then in the afterlife maybe. He's kind, and caring, and he would love to meet you all. He'd probably even try to give you gifts or something in exchange for taking care of his second." As they talked, Sam had woken up, but he hadn't moved. He lie there, not moving except to snuggle more on top of Lata. He didn't want to join in on the conversation, and would actually really like Cas to stop talking. So he tried to go back to sleep, the smallest frown on his face
Lucy was happy that Cas was smiling again. Talking about the being seemed to make his spirits lift. “He sounds nice, I would be delighted to meet him,” she said. She took another sip of her coffee and released a slow breath, letting the tension drain from her shoulders.
"He's kinda scary looking though. At least at first," Cas went on. "His true form is massive, and it looks sort of like a giant whale, or a shark, but his head is a massive skull instead of a proper head. But his alternate form looks sort of like me." He chuckled. "Imagine that. An important celestial being looking something like me."
Lucy slowly shook her head, laughing softly. “That does sound pretty terrifying. And hey, come on now. What’s so wrong with the way you look?” She asked, fingers tapping rhythmically on the table top.
Cas chuckled, looking down at his hands. "In the words of Argo, I look 'like a cracked out hippie someone dragged out of the National Park.'"
Lucy laughed a bit more, slowly shaking her head. “Well, if everyone in your world looks like your first or Sam, I don’t believe that they have any right to judge you,” she stated.
