Sadie's phone rang. She picked it up and read the caller I.D., which said Zoe.
"Hey, Zoe," she answered quietly.
"Hey Sadie, what are you wearing for the ball?"
"I'm not going," Sadie sighed, rolling over so that she was staring at her ceiling. "My stepmother banned me from going."
(Last thing RP-related that was posted.)
Lena, who had been passing by Sadie's room, stepped in. "Why would you be?" She asked, laughing. "It's not like anyone would want to go with you."
Serena, who was right behind Lena, laughed. "Her only friend is that dorky Zoe!"
Sadie flinched visibly at Lena's and Serena's voices.
"Hey, Zoe, I've got to go. I'll talk to you later, 'kay?" she said, then hung up.
Facing her stepsisters, she bit back a harsh reply. "What do you want, Lena? Serena?"
Zoe heard Lena talking. " Nobody was talking to you , you walnut. Luckily I can't see you because my face would be deforming from how ugly you are." She said angrily. " Anyway I'm sure we can figure SOMETHING out." She replied in her sweetest voice.
( Oh shoot, I posted too late.)
(idk maybe Sadie didn't really press the hung up button so you overhear the conversation?)
(I just had an idea: What if Zoe knows Danielle and they plan together how to get Sadie to the ball?)
(Oh that would definitely make sense!)
(Cool. Now we just have to wait for Natasha to agree, but I'm guessing she won't be back until tomorrow at the earliest.)
"What's this?" Lena asked, pointing to the hastily hidden musical posters. She grabbed it before Sadie could stop her and looked at it. "You? The musical? What makes you think that anyone is going to want to watch you perform?" She looked over the papers again before seeming to decide something. "I'd be a much better role. They need someone pretty, not some weirdo like you."
Sadie bit the inside of her cheek, trying to stop the angry tears that were threatening to form in her eyes.
"Give me those back," she demanded, her voice thick with emotion.
"Why should she? There is no way you'd even win, so why try out?" Serena taunted.
"Please," Sadie tried again, sticking her hand out for the papers. "Give. Them. Back."
"I would make an amazing Ariel." Lena said, still bragging. "But I'm sure they could always find a role for you," she said, not sounding sincere. Her eyes suddenly lit up, and she smiled a twisted smile. "I know! You could be my prince charming's sheepdog!" She laughed, and it sort of sounded like a cackle.
Sadie grimaced, turning away from Lena and Serena.
"At least then you'd be mute for a while," she muttered under her breath.
The doorbell rang "Sadie! Lena!" Come down here!"
(I'm Nevaeh)
Lena sneered at Sadie before brushing past Serena and heading downstairs, expecting Sadie to follow.
(Cool. Now we just have to wait for Natasha to agree, but I'm guessing she won't be back until tomorrow at the earliest.)
(I like that. I agree with that.)
Danielle sat on her bed reading a book. The Broken Road was what it was called.
(I don't know the purpose of this post. I was bored. So I posted somwthing.)
