Liam watched as he packed, just putting the one bag back into his backpack, shuffling Truffle into his hood. "ya, I got something. At my old job, my boss had two glock 42s and like two huge boxes of ammo. He was prepared for everything but what killed him." He told Alistor as he moved a small pistol from his pack to his belt.

"I do not hate everyone" Devon mumbled, still glaring at the horse. "Dev, stop glaring at the horse, we know animals usually like you, and you hate it, but like, chill" June rolled her eyes at her brother.

Liam shook his head, and reached back to pet Truffle. "Na, he was just incharge of the bars in several nightclubs." He looked up. "You ready?"

Alastor nodded. "Yep," he said. He went to the open window of the warehouse, and gave a sharp whistle. Zeus immediately bounded over and in one leap he clung onto the window, using his claws as support before managing to push himself out of the window.
"Good boy," Alastor called out, lifting himself up to the window and climbing out before pausing and turning back to the warehouse that Liam was still in. "Do you need help getting out?" He asked, feeling foolish for not asking sooner.

(I didn't mean to come off as rude. I just didn't really know where are setting was so I was just kind making stuff up on the spot. But now that I know I just tweak a couple things. But it's not an issue :) )

Ariella kept her focus on the three people in front of her. She trusted them even less than she trusted Lucky. And considering she had just met Lucky, every move they made had her bouncing on her toes.
She reached her hand up to touch her scar. She mentally scolded herself. She needed to quite doing that. She only got it a couple weeks ago when everything went down. It was still vulnerable for infection. Though with all the grime she was caked in, infection would've already set in if it were going to happen.
She needed a shower and a brush, to tame her hair. She didn't know why she couldn't just cut it. It would be so much easier. But she had an attachment to her long hair.

While he was waiting for Liam, Alastor saw that Zeus had his ears perked and was staring intensely at at a place that was opposite from the warehouse. The gigsntic dog wagged his tail and whimpered, turning his big brown eyes to his companion, begging to go investigate.
Alastor frowned, slightly conflicted. He hesitated a bit, but he saw how much his friend wanted to see something new agter being cooped up for so long and he sighed, caving in.
"Fine, but let me know if it's a threat," he said watching his dog sniff towards the place he saw something before vanishing into a tight looking alleyway (or wherever Ronni is)

Zeus sniffed around, wagging his tail excitedly as the scent grew stronger. He lifted his head once he finally found the source of the scent trail and gave a bark of greeting.

"I was planning on going after him anyway," Alastor said, also staring at the place Zeus went off to. "I know that you can probably take care of yourself, but please stay behind me, okay? I don't know what Zeus found and I'd rather you not get hurt."

Lucas smiled at both Lucky and Ariella.
"Nice to meet you both." He said earnestly.
"Nothing specific is out west for me." He admitted and blushed lightly "i'm" just being a wanderer I guess."

Lucky nodded. "Hey, not a bad idea. Any family you're trying to get to?"
He was glad Ariella had introduced herself. He let her keep ahold of his hand; the last couple of weeks had left scars of all kinds on everyone. She had the obvious one, but like Lucky, she clearly had been through some garbage.

Liam rolled his eyes but stepped aside to let Alistor lead the way. He'd worked with enough adults to know that they like to take charge. "I'm honored." he added sarcastically.

Ronni scrambled backwards as the German Shepherd found her. She kicked over a trashcan in his way, and began climbing the fire escape up the building. The two guys were headed her way, and that was not ideal.

"I was saying that because I'm a trained cop who's dealt with countless gruesome crimes that you couldn't even imagine," Alastor said curtly to Liam. "And over half of those cases involved murdered kids. I don't want you ending up like them."
He quickened his pace when he heard a trashcan being kicked and he sprinted when he heard Zeus's startled yelp. When he got to the alleyway he saw Zeus pacing around a fire escape. Alastor looked up and saw a person climbing up it.
"Wait!" He called out, putting his hand on the fire escape, wondering if he should start climbing too. "We're not going to hurt you." Unless you try to attack us, Alastor thought, hoping it didn't have to come to that.

Ronni had heard that before. Men weren't to be trusted.
She kept climbing and was going to get away, until she twisted her ankle on a slick step. The pain shot up her leg and she immediately dropped onto the gridded metal.
No no no no, this can't happen, they're gonna get me, they've got a dog and they're so much bigger than me…
