"Jasper, please, please stop it," Daso begged, his throat thick. "I told you. She's not my enemy. I didn't mean to. If you're gonna do something do it while I'm not here, I can't take it, okay?"
"Jasper, please, please stop it," Daso begged, his throat thick. "I told you. She's not my enemy. I didn't mean to. If you're gonna do something do it while I'm not here, I can't take it, okay?"
Adrielle simply smiled sweetly at him. “Is that so? Well then, I’m flattered that you care so much about me.” She smirked at him.
(jasper: hmm how should i make her suffer)
(daso: hey let's not torture her)
(jasper:)
(jasper: or we could. torture her)
(Which are totally different.)
He raised a hand and smacked Adrielle over the face."Quiet, bitch," he hissed at her.
He looked sideways at Daso, his brow furrowed in confusion. "But….she hurt you. Emotionally. Why don't you want her to suffer? I don't understand."
"I'm not sorry," Daso said, his eyes widening in surprise. "I hope I'll be sorry I hurt you someday, but right now, no. I don't want you hurt anymore because I feel like I did enough."
Adrielle let a hiss escape her mouth as he hit her already sore face, but didn’t give him anymore satisfaction.
(sry my answer is kinda poorly timed w yours sarah. can you make daso answer jasper too)
He raised a hand and smacked Adrielle over the face."Quiet, bitch," he hissed at her.
He looked sideways at Daso, his brow furrowed in confusion. "But….she hurt you. Emotionally. Why don't you want her to suffer? I don't understand."
Daso turned towards Jasper, lowering his eyes. "I don't care that she hurt me. I'm too easily hurt. That's not her fault. She shouldn't have to get hurt because of all my baggage. 'Sides, I already hurt her enough. Too much maybe. I don't know yet."
Jasper laughed. "You barely touched her. If you ask me, you haven't hurt her enough." He pushed her roughly in the ribs. "See? She's fine."
Adrielle grimaced and kicked him in the leg, the edge of her shoe digging into his legs.
"Stop, please," he whispered, sitting down and cradling the ashes still clutched in his burned hand.
Jasper growled at her, standing up and pushing her with his foot against the wall. He looked at Daso. "What'd I tell you? Not enough."
"I'm so tired," he said suddenly, burying his face in his arms. "I'm so tired of myself. Look what I've done to you two."
Adrielle watched them, amusement dancing in her eyes. “Huh. Are you two going to have your first fight? Good riddance, I say. You two need to blow off some steam. Or sexual tension. But don’t do that in here.” She smirked slightly.
Jasper kicked her sharply in the stomach, not taking his eyes off Daso. "Baby boy, you haven't done anything to me. I don't know if you noticed, but I was like this already." He stroked his hair absentmindedly, relishing the warmth from Daso's embrace. "Alright, if it means that much to you, I won't hurt her."
"I don't want you to fight for me, okay? Not ever." He sighed shakily. "Either I fight my own battles, or there simply are no battles."
A sharp breath came from Adrielle as he kicked her, but she ignored it. Her eyebrows rose in surprise at what he said. “What, Jasper not wanting to fight? That’s new. I think the world might be ending.”
(i gtg sleep)
(Bye!)
(byee)
(hey let's continue)
A sharp breath came from Adrielle as he kicked her, but she ignored it. Her eyebrows rose in surprise at what he said. “What, Jasper not wanting to fight? That’s new. I think the world might be ending.”
Jasper looked down at her, wetting his lips. "Don't push your luck."
Outside the cabin all the other teenagers were assembled. The boys were in one line, the girls were in a line behind them. Jake paced in front of them, counting them all under his breath. Jane stood behind, watching for any sudden movements. Jake stopped near the middle of the front. He raised his head, pausing to look several of them in the eye. “Today,” He said loudly, “there will be some changes.” He looked towards the back. None of the teens saw who he was staring at and none were brave enough to look. From behind them all Jane nodded. “For one,” Jake continued, “there will be curfews that will be strictly met. You have had too much lenience in the past.” His eyes narrowed, “That changes now.”
From the second row Grace looked around nervously. She didn’t care much about Jasper, but she hadn’t seen Daso in too long. Who knows what had happened to him by now. She took a breath to steady herself.
“Right now some of you may be wondering what has happened to a few of your fellow campers. Let me tell you. They caused more trouble than they were worth. They have been locked up together. Any who choose not to obey will share the same punishment.”
Cat stood still beside Grace. Great, this wasn't what she meant when she said they should drive Jake insane. Now she just has to wait it out. Keep her head down and maybe run once everyone could off.
