Erin blinked, still smiling as she recalled her late husband. "He was funny. Always laughing. I used to be way more stuck up and didn't let loose. He changed that. We met when we were assigned a mission together. He made it soooo obvious that he liked me right away." She laughed and shook her head. "It took me a while to come around, but I did. Jessica's lightheartedness comes from him."

Claire nodded, awkwardly going back to their collective self. I don't really want to say anything about that…. Do I? Will it ruin anything?…. I don't feel like…. It should just go on unsaid….
App smiled at Erin's recollection of her husband. "He sounds nice. Wish I could've met him." Then she noticed Claire had gotten quiet. She looked over. It seemed like Claire was itching to say something, but keeping quiet. "Claire? Is there something you wanna talk about? You're acting a little stiff."
Clovis lets out a short chuckle.

"Ya know, I forgot yours too. I'm Clovis. There's no nickname."

Dareon held out a hand. "Name's Dareon. You can call me Dare. Or not. Whichever you prefer." He grinned at Clovis' chuckle. "So did you get enough sleep last night? Kinda wish you could've slept longer, sorry. You seemed completely on autopilot." Dare chuckled a bit.

App loped over to her, her movements almost like a hungry, stalking wolf. "Aw, c'mon. It's not like we're saying much else important." App tilted her head to give Claire eye contact. "C'mon, spill the tea!"
"I c-can't," Claire stammered and continued to stare at her feet. "….Not without you guys hating me anyways."

"I'm sorry, but you are talking to a girl who has been ripped apart and put back together with robotic and animal parts, is now very self conscious about it, and it is literally the end of the world. I highly doubt any of us are gonna judge. If we do, we're hypocrites." She put a hand on Claire back. "I promise. We won't judge. If it's bothering you, you need to talk about it."
"I don't know…." Claire sorta shriveled up and scrunched her shoulders. "I just feel like… I'm…. Being avoided…." That's because you make it that way…. "Well….I mean… I just don't feel welcomed anymore since…. I nearly put all of you in danger of death…."

His blue eyes watch Molly in the front of the group. She kicks rocks every now and then and rubs a bruise on her arm. His mind wanders for a moment, but only a moment, and he gets it back on track by asking another question. "I'm sorry, where did you come from? Like, how did you join us?" he inquires, taking his eyes off of Molly and smiling at Dare.
"Honey, it happens." Erin said to Claire. "We all make mistakes but what matters most is how we react afterward. You're part of our group and we're never going to forget you."
"Yeah…" I bet I've reacted awfully… Running away when Clovis and Molly were shot… What kind of group member am I? Hey, do you remember Claire Toukasa? She immitated in her mind. Oh, you mean that girl that nearly got us killed???
She frowned. Oh well.

Claire shook her head and turned away. “No….. no more death…” Her face turned sour as she was about to cry. “I would rather die myself than see someone else die….” No more…. no more…. no more of that…. I thought it was done….
App quickly realized she said something that upset Claire, so she hugged the girl. "Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. … I just thought the truth might help. Guess I was wrong…"
The truth never helps…. She shook her head and began to cry. …What makes it worse is that it isn’t me that does the killing… it’s someone else…. Claire didn’t know what to do — his passing happened such a while ago, and it was over. Why was she still so weepy and attached to it?
App held her tighter. "… I'm sorry. I truly am. … I can't say I know exactly what you're going through, but… We're all here if you ever need to talk, cry… whatever you need, we can at least try to help in any way we can."

A small grin crosses Clovis' lips and he rubs the back of his neck, looking forward.
"I dunno, man. You'd have to ask her, not me. Though it seems like she's kinda been avoiding me lately." He sighs, but still keeps his smile, "I think though that it's best to let the woman decide anyways."
