Erin grinned, Molly's not-so-hint not escaping her notice. "I'd be glad to come. I know what city she's talking about. We could follow the tracks. I believe they run all the way there. I think we were heading in that general direction anyway."
Clovis nods, looking down to the map, "I think so." he folds the map and puts it away, hiking the bag back up onto his shoulder again.
"Thank you, Erin, for taking over a bit yesterday. I'm sorry I was so out of it. I know you're still kinda a stranger, but thanks for taking lead anyways," he gives her a friendly pat on the shoulder, along with a reassuring smile.
(Not to mention he had like three mental breakdowns in two days, Lol)
Claire walked in slowly, a tad nervous. But when she saw her, she was suprised. I— I don’t think I’ve ever seen her like that… (correct me if I bein dumb).. “Erm…. we…. Dare and I were thinking about… eating breakfast soon. Do — Do you want to come join us?”
(Nope. Not dumb. You were right.)
App avoided looking at Claire, still tugging on her hair. "Um, sure. But only if you actually want me to." Her fingers gripped the sink harder, her knuckles turning white.
(Okey just checking….)
"Well…. I mean….. You have to eat…." Claire came in and closed the door right behind her. "….At least Dare and I want you to eat… And I'm sure Erin would too." She glanced at the floor. It was a shame for Claire herself – she would've gotten along much better…. Only if she didn't loose her memory….
App just put her back to the wall and slid to the floor. She closed her eyes and ran her hand over her face, sighing, "I'll join you in a minute. I just need a sec."
"Okay…. If…." She thought twice before saying such thing. "If you need someone to…. Er…. Talk to….. I guess I'll be around." It wasn't normal for her to say such thing, since she preferred to keep her mouth shut most of the time. It's worth a try….
That did it. App put her head on her knees and cried. Just cried.
Claire froze when she was on her way out the door. Just hearing someone cry…. I don't know what to do… But…. I can't brush this off… "….App? Do…. Do you need to talk about it….? It's – It's okay if you… Don't…"
I can't let her cry…. She used to be so kind….. She thought back to when they first escaped Darren's city. But… I've just been more and more distant with everyone….
App sniffed, "You don't wanna listen. I'm just being a crybaby. You can go…. Just…" She cried harder.
"A…. Are you sure?" She said quietly. "I-I mean…. It's okay if you don't…. I.." Claire shrank a bit. "I just want to… To make sure you're okay."
App laughed weakly. "I'm never "okay". I'm sorry…" She rubbed her eyes. "You shouldn't have to see this. Me being a weakling."
Erin smiled back at Clovis and shrugged. "You're welcome. I'm used to taking charge of whatever situation I'm in. I try not to be too pushy but it just comes naturally. I'm glad I can contribute to our group and help out." Taking Jess's hand she headed for the bathroom to wash up before they headed out.
As she approached the locker room, she heard Claire's voice and… someone crying. Giving her daughter a 'shhh' symbol, she slipped into the room and saw it was Apollyon, sitting on the floor.
"Are you okay, honey?" she asked, coming forward.
(MOM ALERT MOM ALERT MOM ALERT XD)
App looking up at Erin's voice, showing her pale, tear-streaked face. She looked down again, still crying, and simply shook her head.
(Hello)
Molly sighs, walking back over to Fiona and bending down by her, shaking her.
"Hey, idiot. It's morning. If you don't get up now, then I'll drag you all one hundred miles."
Erin sat down beside Claire and Apollyon. Jessica darted into a bathroom stall to use the bathroom and then darted out again, trotting down the hall to where everyone was.
"It's okay to not be okay sometimes." Erin said. "There's nothing wrong with that."
App shook her head and threaded her fingers through her hair. "No. I'm weak. I shouldn't be so upset. I'm just being a crybaby." She curled up in a fetal position, sobbing.
(Uuuauaaaaaahhhhh)
Claire stayed silent and slipped out. She had no idea what she was doing herself, and she didn't want to get in other peoples' business like she had been a while back. What on earth happened to her…? She slumped her way back to the lobby. I just don't understand…. And… She used to be one of my good friends…. She was the one who convinced me to come with Clovis and the others, but now….. She wiped her face. I don't really know anymore….
Erin scooted forward and wrapped her arms around the girl, patting her head. "We're all weak, honey. Crying isn't a sign of weakness, it's a sign we've been strong for too long."
(Erin the Inspirational Quote Machine XD)
(awww Claire can stay. They can all cry together XD)
(Nnyayy hhnrinkdbkdsjb I don’t know what I’m doiiiijnnnnngggg)
App wrapped her arms around Erin and cried softly. This was what she had needed. She saw Claire walking away and called out pitifully, "Wait… Come back… I d-didn't mean to dr-drive you aw-way…"
(Hello)
Molly sighs, walking back over to Fiona and bending down by her, shaking her.
"Hey, idiot. It's morning. If you don't get up now, then I'll drag you all one hundred miles."
She opened her eyes slowly and glared at Molly, sitting up slowly, "I'm coming, hold your horses." She grumbled, standing up and stretching slowly. Her stomach grumbled and she sighed, "Don't try to tell me to eat, I'm fine." She glanced at Molly and crossed her arms over her stomach.
Molly rolls her eyes, shoving food towards Fiona.
"Fine then, I command you to eat. What good is a Fiona if it's dead? Hmm?"
