(No it’s fine. I know it’s a massive problem, if that’s your intention of informing me.)
(Yeah, I put it in because I feel like it's a large problem. Even larger than substance abuse, but it seems to me to be treated like one of those things where people are like, "You cut yourself?! Why the hell are you doing that? My guess is that you're just looking for attention". That's pretty much what happened to me.)
(It is a problem like that, and because of it teens are growing more and more troubled and it’s terrible. I responded, btw)
(Yeah, I saw. I'm just stuck on what to write next. Any suggestions?)
(Hb when they get back?)
(I guess.)
Lake watched as they pulled back into the driveway of the house. She got out after grabbing her iPod and slunk back into the house and headed straight for the basement. When she got down there, she lit the lantern and sat at her workbench, just staring at her hands in her lap, forehead on the table. She inhaled the scent of the herbs. She got up and grabbed a couple leaves of an herb and chewed them, swallowing. She sat down on the floor, propped on the bench. Finally the herbs kicked in and reversed the effects of the pill she had so stupidly took. She gasped out a sob and lay down on the cement floor, head in her hands, sobbing. After a little bit, she ran up the ladder and ran for Sylvastor's room, tears still streaming down her face.
Slyvastor rose out of the car, shuffled into the house/diner thing and went into his room, shutting and locking the door. He sat down on his bad, squeezed his hands together and curled up underneath the sheets, biting his lips. He didn’t need to cry…
(Fuck. Did not read locked door. Oops.)
Lake ran up to Sylvastor's room and banged on the door. She collapsed to the floor on her knees, sobbing. "S-Slyvastor..? P-please… open up… I'm sorry… I'm a st-tupid fucking i-idiot. I'll never t-take those pills ag-gain, I promise!"
(xD)
Slyvastor poked his head out of his sheets. He rose reluctantly and walked over to answer the door, hanging his head low.
“It’s okay, Lake.” His voice was soft and subdued.
"No!" She sobbed. "It's not ok!" She rocked back and forth. "I was an idiot. I made you upset. I took the pills. I-I-I…" She couldn't talk through the lump in her throat.
(I'm bored outta my mind. Is anybody else on right now?)
I am, I'm not even in this rp anymore lol//
(So you've basically created a role play then left it to it's own devices. That works. Just kidding. Are you saying that because your character has nothing to do? )
Meh, I lost interest in that character.//
(Alright. Since this is your role play, you can always just create another. If you want anyway. …I just realized. Have you been reading the updates me and Emi have been putting up? I'm reading them over, and is it just me, or does something not feel right with my posts? Particularly the last one.)
I have not been reading them, what makes you think that way about them?//
(Wdym not right, Whisper? They’re fine.)
(I don't know. I guess I just feel that they're different from everyone else's. They read like they're excerpts from a book.)
(That’s good! It means you write like an author. It’s okay.)
(I add tons of details and actions and dialogue while everyone else goes for two-three liners with minimal details. Also, I feel like I'm somehow controlling other people's characters every time I have mine interact with theirs.)
(That’s good! It means you write like an author. It’s okay.)
(Well, I guess that's good since I'm aspiring to be one.)
(Though the last post of mine seemed like I was loading on the emotion. Was it bad?)
(i know i do that i’m so sorryyyyy
I try my best to keep up with you, but with your longer and more character controlling (I’ll admit that to you) style, it’s extremely hard to respond. BUT I am not saying you should drop the long descriptions, perhaps drop the character controlling. I, personally, don’t care at all if you control my character, but others do.)
(Sorry. Ignore me. I'm having an insecurity attack.)
