“Yeah some. People tend to like my services though.” He grinned. “How about you?”

"It was okay. I had someone yell at me and then one of our regulars told him to back off and leave me alone." Eve sighed, remembering what had happened, before putting a smile back on her face, "But that's usual for the diner. Other than that though, it was a good day because I got to see you."

Kai smiled and leaned towards her. “It was a good day wasn’t it.”

"It really was." She agreed and leaned into Kai, resting her head on his shoulder.

Kai put his arm around her and sighed happily. “I’m so glad I met you..”

"I'm glad I ran into while not paying attention." Eve laughed and closed her eyes for just a moment, remembering the day they'd met.

Kai chuckled as well. “Things have a crazy way of working out, don’t they..”

"Yes they really do. If I hadn't ran into, we may never have actually met." Eve looked up and kissed Kai's cheek before returning back to her original position with her head resting on his shoulder.

"That would be extremely unfortunate." Kai put his arm around her.

"It would have been." Eve agreed.

Eve paced back and forth backstage, her nerves starting to get to her. She grabbed her drumsticks as the band was announced and followed after her band mates onto the stage. She looked around for Kai before sitting down on the stool behind her new drum set that had been delivered a few days before.

Kai sat watching her, grinning like an idiot. He gazed at her lovingly as she played and cheered when they were finished.

As soon as she was finished, Eve stood up next to Isobel, Kate, and Zoe to bow and say goodnight to their fans who were in the crowd. Once they'd walked backstage again, Eve looked for Kai, once more, hoping he had gone backstage to meet her.

Kai ran up the stairs to the backstage and found Eve standing waiting. "Hey!"

"Hello to you too!" She shouted back at him and ran into his arms in excitement.

Kai laughed and hugged her happily. "That was amazing!"

"You liked it?" Eve pulled away a little bit with a big grin to look up at him as she asked.

"Of course I did!" He said leaning down and kissing her.

Eve kissed him back, accidentally dropping her drumsticks in the process. The drumsticks fell to the floor with a loud clatter.

Kai laughed against her lips and bent down to pick them up.

"Just leave them, I'll pick them up later." Eve mumbled and gently pulled him towards her so she could kiss him again.

Kai gave in and kissed her back happily, wrapping a hand around her middle.

Eve smiled into the kiss and cupped his face in her hands, pulling him a little closer to her.

“You looked great with those drums.” He smiled, pulling away a little.
